Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge changes its face, at least momentarily, and now takes the name of Battle Mage Secrets, the focus of the new challenge is to focus players not so much on the single card but on the game strategy depending on the chosen rulset for the challenge. In fact, each battle has one or more rulset which inevitably conditions the deployments and strategies adopted. A winning set of cards with one rulset may not be as effective with other rulset.

The rulset chosen for this first edition of the new challenge is AIM TRUE, all monsters with Ranged and Melee attack will always hit their target. Of course, this also applies to magical attacks.

All cards that have skills such as Flying for example, skills that offer an increased chance to evade Ranged and Melee attacks, will not be valid. So deploying cards with this ability in first position for example won't have any beneficial effect, so it's better to change your strategy and deploy a monster with greater defense.

Battle Link

A practical example is the deployment of GARGOYA LION in last position, even risking defeat but it is evident that all the shots taken were successful, which is why the monster had a short life. If it hadn't been for the AIM TRUE rule, maybe a few hits would have avoided it :)

Conclusion

The @splinterlands contests are not only meant to get us generous upvotes but above all to help us discover new cards that can be very useful in our battles and stimulate us to new strategies and more options in battle.

The low card prices, also caused by the large number of prints and availability of Chaos Legion cards, are a great entry point for new players. In fact, it is possible to build an excellent deck of cards by spending little, compared to the cards of previous editions. It will also be interesting to observe the upcoming airdrops of CL cards in order to better determine which Summoner to upgrade and consequently which cards to buy on the market!

Furthermore, the strategy that each player sets himself can undergo natural variations, in order to improve his deck of cards and climb the ranking of the best players, also obtaining higher rewards!

Il Weekly Battle Challenge di Splinterlands cambia volto, almeno momentaneamente, ed ora prende il nome di Battle Mage Secrets, il focus della nuova challenge è focalizzare i giocatori non tanto sulla singola carta ma sulla strategia di gioco a seconda del rulset scelto per il challenge. Ogni battaglia infatti ha uno o più rulset che condiziona inevitabilmente gli schieramenti e le strategie adottate. Un set di carte vincente con un determinato rulset potrebbe essere non così efficace con altrui rulset.

Il rulset scelto per questa prima edizione del nuovo challenge è AIM TRUE, tutti i mostri con attacco Ranged e Melee colpiranno sempre il loro obiettivo. Ciò è valido ovviamente anche per gli attacchi magici.

Tutte le carte che possiedono abilità come Flying ad esempio, abilità che offre una aumenta chance di evadere attacchi Ranged e Melee, nom saranno validi. Per cui schierare carte con questa abilità in prima posizione ad esempio non sortirà alcun effetto benefico, per cui è meglio cambiare strategia e schierare un mostro con una maggiore difesa.

Un esempio pratico è lo schieramento di GARGOYA LION in ultima posizione, rischiando anche la sconfitta ma è evidente come tutti i colpi incassati siano andati a segno, motivo per cui il mostro ha avuto vita breve. Se non ci fosse stato le regola AIM TRUE, forse qualche colpo l'avrebbe evitato :)

Conclusione

I contest di @splinterlands non hanno solo lo scopo di farci ottenere generosi upvotes ma sono soprattutto di aiutarci a scoprire nuove carte che possono essere davvero molto utili nelle nostre battaglie e stimolarci a nuove strategie e più opzioni in battaglia.

I prezzi bassi delle carte, causati anche dal gran numero di stampe e disponibilità delle carte di Chaos Legion, sono un ottimo punto di ingresso per i nuovi giocatori. Infatti è possibile costruire un ottimo mazzo di carte spendendo poco, rispetto alle carte delle precedenti edizioni. Sarà anche interessante osservare i prossimi airdrops delle carte CL in modo da determinare meglio quale Evocatore potenziare e di conseguenza le carte da acquistare sul mercato!

Inoltre, la strategia che ogni giocatore si imposta, può subire variazioni naturali, in modo da migliorare il proprio mazzo di carte e scalare la classifica dei migliori giocatori, ottenendo anche ricompense più elevate!
