Splinterlands: Purchasing Strategies for Chaos Legion

In this video I go through purchase strategies for the highly anticipated Splinterlands Chaos Legion release whether purchasing in the phase 2 pre-sale or holding out for the general sale.

Firstly we go over the two new legendary airdrops "Baakjira" and "Uriel the Purifier". It's important to know what the drop rates
are of these cards, so you can work out if it's worth using your vouchers in the phase 2 pre-sale. If you do not have enough vouchers, you're better off waiting for the general sale. To guarantee these cards, you will need to purchase at least 300 packs. This will also require 300 vouchers.

Next I go through a cost effectiveness exercise and compare 2 different purchasing strategies. In the first, we purchase 300 chaos legion packs receiving 10% extra packs, and in the second we purchase 500 receiving 15% extra packs. It's interesting to see the contrast of the two different strategies and associated benefits of both.

NOTE: I did make a small mistake in the last costing when I reduced the cost of the 575 packs by selling the 225 vouchers remaining. But you get the picture. The idea still has merit due to the extra packs awarded and the airdrop points associated with these packs.
