Fire Spitter Game Strategy

Twitter Formatted Thumbnail

When your battling a Dragon Quest or some of the range rulesets that come up consider the Fire Spitter it will give you an edge.

This Epic reward card from the Dragon Splinter is best used at the back line of your team, it comes with the flying ability and at level three it gets another attack point to three damage, four speed and five health

Using a Range Boosting Summoner

Do you have PRINCE RENNYN or SELENIA SKY? well good for you, I had both of them but sold them last year and regret it now. Add the Fire Spitter and get a ranged attack increase that is very had to defend against.

Put the Fire Spitter in last place

This is to keep away from the front line as range will not attack from the first position (unless we have a ruleset that make it usable) but mostly keep away from the front spot.

With Both the Flying ability and a speed of four this will make for a hard target to hit, use this to your advantage by adding a speed boost or even slowing down your opponents team.

Fire Spitter Defeats Yodin Zaku Summoner Team

This does not happen very often so its worth paying attention. When a level three Yodin Zaku appears as your enemy with powerful ranged snipers ( this maximize's the blast and range boost of his attack) it's usually curtains for you. Plus he has a level three LORD ARIANTHUS up front in tank position.

My magic attack hits first only half damage, receiving magic reflect and then my Fire Spitter hits his tank and makes full damage impact reducing his health by a handy three points, both my Melee Attack next taking a thorns hit and only dropping his health by a few points, finally my Black Dragon finishes of his tank, BEFORE HE HAS EVEN FIRED ONE SHOT!!! ( watch the battle on slow speed )

He Starts to respond and the high attack damage and blast start to hurt my team, the Inspired (meele attack increased) Level five Cerberus takes the front, fires hard against my unicorn followed by a brutal barrage from his ranged attack.

Fire Spitter is instrumental in lowering the health of the Cerberus enough for a one shot kill from my Unicorn, then watch how the Trample triggers and takes out most of his team almost didn't happen as a hard retaliate nearly killed him this was enough to bring his level eight Ettin Spearman to the front spot and he can't attack so it dies fast and fades of for a satisfying Win.

Fire Spitter Battle

Final Thoughts

For new players take heart you don't need to spend a small fortune on high end cards and summoners, I was able to defeat this very powerful enemy by strategy, team selection and placement and taking advantage of the ruleset in play. My Fire Spitter strategy worked as described above, I like this card a lot and use it regularly.

I hope that you have found this battle summary useful and i look forward to seeing you on the battle arena, if I do shoot me a message and tell me.

I must remember to use him more. Like Phantom of the Abyss, but ranged, and 40% of the mana cost.

Dragons are my favorite splinter to use, I wish I had more of the cards.

There are a lot of overlooked cards that can be perfect in different situations.
Bad habits cost matches.

I need this tattooed on me somewhere.

Across your retina?

I think the real challenge is slowing down and going by the ruleset first, THEN worry about the Splinter, whether it's your daily quest or whatever the situation happens to be.

I keep telling myself that if I force myself to play the quest splinter, that I'll get better at the game. It's been two years now, so hopefully that'll kick in soon :)

It’s what I did in this match, ruleset was trample, so I pick unicorn as tank, then built a team around him and I won against a more powerful enemy.

I also had Prince Rennyn and I hope you can see why I will never sell another card.
I lease them out for small rental fee and then channel that back into either investing on Hive-Engine, powering up, or buying other cards.

I still have about five cards still listed for sale, but thinking I might keep them now.

I sold a gold foil Furious Chicken for $50US and I think I did well out of that trade.
But yeah, think of them as assets. I am even slowly buying back the Alpha cards I stupidly sold. (Alpha booster packs were worth $60US each on Hive-Engine at one point).

Nice deal there, I have a couple myself but I nearly always play them in my matches, probably my most used card.

Wow, that's a fantastic battle that your team fought against that hard opponent.
An awesome strategy you had there, it seemed.
Keep on battling.
