Splinterlands - Only Common Cards for Season End but Two Rare for a Daily Quest

I was very lucky in one of my daily quests to not only receive two cards from my two loot chests but both of the cards were rare - A Venari Wavesmith and a Gargoya Devil. Since I received only common cards at season end, this was indeed a very lucky draw.

Season End Performance Report

I ended the Season barely in the Silver III League with a rating of 1011. I won 10 less matches than in season past and my Win/Loss ratio was almost even with last season .094 (this season) vs .093 (last season). I was able to win 169 of my 348 matches with my longest win streak of 7 matches. I fought 23 matches less than I did last season.

Season End Rewards

I individually rented my cards to get me up to Silver III. I would say my rewards were ok this season. Here are all the rewards I received in my Season End Loot Chests. In all, I received 7 common cards, 28 DEC, and 2 Legendary and 1 Alchemy potions. I was hoping for higher cards but I will take any cards that I can get.

Matched Win Rewards

With 169 wins that I was able to have this season, I received 199 in DEC rewards. 247 fewer than last season. I am receiving less and less DEC rewards each season. I need to work on increasing this but it might take getting up into a higher league than Silver III.

Rented Into Silver III

I rented enough cards so that I could be in the Silver III League. Renting cards is a balancing act between the cost of rentals and the DEC you win during ranked matches. I only rented when my rating was high enough that I would receive additional rewards if I was in the higher League. Also, this season it took me a lot longer to get back into the Silver III league so I only rented for the last few days of the season which was at the higher rental rates.
