Splinterlands - Purchased my 1st Chaos Legion Card Pack

Purchased Pre-Sale Pack

I am now the proud owner of one of the pre-sale Chaos Legion Card Packs. Yes, I have only bought one pack so far because I want to have a chance, even thought is is only a 2% chance, for the Exclusive AirDrop limited Promo card.

This Promo card would be a great investment so I needed to be a part of the drawing because I know I will probably not be able to afford it when the card is placed on the market after pre-sale is over.

The cost of getting 1 pre-sale pack with the small change for the promo card to me out weighs the forgone costs if I would have sold the voucher and then tried to get the promo card on the market.

Legendary and Alchemy Potions Accumulated

I have accumulated enough Legendary and Alchemy potions ready to be applied when packs can be opened. I am hoping for at least 1 or 2 Legendary and/or 1 or 2 Gold Cards and if I am truly lucky Gold Legendary Card. That would make my day.

Chaos Legion Presale Event

The Splinterlands Chaos Legion Presale Event is well underway. There are a little over 20 days left for you to make your pre-sale purchase and have a chance for the exclusive airdrop limited Promo card. There are still over 800,000 Chaos Packs available for purchase in this pre-sale event.

Curious if Pre-sale will be extended or if Public Sales starts when Timer Ends

I need to decided if I would like to purchase additional pre-sale packs. This will depend on how many vouchers I can accumulate prior to the end of the pre-sale. With over 800,000 packs left to pre-sale and on 20 days left on clock, this would be pack sales of around 40,000 per day on average.

The one item that I have not heard is regarding if the full 1 million packs do not sale out by the end of the 20 days will the pre-sale be extended? Or will it end and the public sale start with the additional 2 million being released.

If anyone has heard this information, please let me know in the comments on this post.

Thanks. Do you know if the pre-sale will for sure end in 20 days and all the promo cards being doled out to the purchasers or if it will be extended until all the million packs get sold no matter how long that will take?

Good luck. I think you will need it since a pack doesn't offer that great of a chance. Who knows if you will get a Dr Blight from the airdrop chances.

Thanks. I figure someone has to win, why not me. Also, do you know if the pre-sale will end at the scheduled time in 20 days or do you think it will be extended till the 1 million presale card packs sale out?

I think it will end in 20 days but I heard that vouchers will still have uses in the future. Then again, the land pre-sale kept going until all the plots sold so it may be possible for them to keep selling and let more people change in vouchers.

Thanks for this information. They will probably make an announcement if all the packs have not sold by that time on the plan.

I am sorry buddy I have no real information just speculation. I am betting they will all sell out. I have a flawed system of thinking it is an "All or Nothing" school of thought. I like your system better. I can buy just 5 packs, then use the remaining funds to buy a summoner with some other cards.
I wrote a whole article about how I can either buy 20 packs or a Mylor Crowling with some other cards, but I can do both if I scale down both purchases. Thanks buddy wish I read your article first lol :-)

There are so many combinations of Choices with none of them being wrong. I like the investment aspect of the game but also I like the learning how to play by creating good lineups as well. It is hard to maximize both.

Anything worth doing is hard lol. That takes me back to the military. Everyone was clammoring for a challenge, or bragging of the difficulty in the accomplishment of a particluar tqask or mission.

Here in the civilian world the word challenge seems to have a lot of negative under tones.

That will be my path to play and have a cards rented out :-)
