Aug. 13, 20: Discord, PostUp, Errands, Xbox, and Games

Up right around the same time as yesterday, nearly half past six, but half an hour short on sleep. Even though I thought I’d caught up some the last few nights, I totally dragged in the afternoon today. Nearly laid down for a nap, but resisted the urge.

Did the usual morning routine, which is why it’s routine, I suppose. Bitcoin seems to be recovering nicely, but still not broken past resistance, so we’ll see how that goes, but ETH took a serious pump (10%) later on in the day...signs of things to come?

Spent most of the day dinking around over on OCD Discord. Pretty active community over there and funny for the most part. We joked around and then played some music quizes. 💯. Got to try and actually accomplish something soon, though, rather than staring at the screen all day. 🥴

I went and attended PostUp to promote Solairitas. 😁 Lots of good posts to check out there, you should come!!

I did run some errands in town for a little while, and played some Xbox for a short time (some random platformer I downloaded ages ago), but otherwise not much to show for the day.

Went out in the sunshine for at least a little bit and tended to the garden. I watered and pulled quite a few weeds. Looks a lot cleaner in there and the tomatoes 🍅 are coming in nicely!

I did do a bit of thinking 🤔 about my new thesis idea, but there’s still fuzziness in the details that I can’t quite see through. Thinking the next step is to take a look at mod 385, can’t really deduce much of a pattern from a single example (mod 35).

There’s six more interesting actions to examine mod 385 versus the two I have mod 35, so I might be able to see more of what’s going on, or it might end up just looking like a big jumbled mess. Dunno, got some work to do.

Wenche was working late again, so I made myself another peanut butter and jelly sandwich for dinner and played my Splinterlands quest.

It was past bedtime already and I still needed nearly 3,000 steps to hit my goal of ten thousand for the day! 🤭. Although my back (and basically everything else) was hurting and I took some painkillers, I didn’t really thing it was a good enough reason to break my streak, so I finished up with some laps around the house.

FitBit registered it as an exercise, so I’m going to count that as official, even though I didn’t get out for a proper walk.

I struggled for real in the arena today, but luckily honoru came to the rescue and I was able to get all my Holybread tasks done. ✅

Couldn’t seem to beat any of the guys in front of me, but still hanging onto the top twenty. 👍🤩

I got Death splinter for my Splinterlands quest today. I considered switching it up, but decided to roll with it. My Death deck isn’t too bad, even at these levels.

Completed the quest in Champion II with a potion, having actually made a bit of progress in the ranks. Pretty good rewards today; got a couple epics and an Untamed pack:
