Aug. 17, 20: Discord, Twitter, Gardening, Mowing, and Games

Up just shy of seven today but over a full night by twenty minutes! I did feel like laying down for a bit of a nap in the afternoon, but powered through with the help of some caffeine. ☕️

Hit up the faucets, did some curation, the usual morning routine...watched a couple crypto news videos on YouTube, a couple on LBRY...time flies when you’re having fun.

I had a feeling that after the weekend being so slow in cryptos we might see a significant move today one way or the other...and we sure did!

Bitcoin absolutely smashed through the twelve thousand resistance on solid volume! We’re not seeing a whole lot of follow through yet, though, there might be a little bit of a correction coming.

Really didn’t feel like going out today, and though I know those a precisely the days when you should go, I gave in to my lack of motivation and didn’t go...made up for it later with some proper work outside, though.

Spent some time mucking about over on Discord...not a lot going on over there today, but had a couple of laughs.

I was SUPER surprised when I got a massive upvote from trafalgar yesterday! 🤑 That felt amazing and it meant that for the first time since they killed bid bots my post was above threshold and there was no need for me to self-vote!!!! 😍😃

I feel badly that the people who curate my posts are punished for doing so, and so I always self-vote in order to reduce their penalty. Today there was no need! 👍

Spent some time shifting tokens around and staking to the Solairitas Project. We’ve been growing by leaps and bounds lately. 🥳🤩 In the past I hadn’t gotten too much exposure or interaction on Twitter, so I’d kinda’ ignored it, but the project got mentioned a few times yesterday and there was a bit of a buzz going, so I did some following and shilling over there.

Although I didn’t get out for a proper walk today (and so no maps or nothing 😭), I spent the rest of the afternoon working out in the garden doing some weeding and watering and then I mowed the back yard that really needed it.

I got the last piece of the wire stripped down that I had been procrastinating on as well. Got the exterior all off and then sanded down the rubber that was stuck on, ready to go in the acid now...need to get the batch out that’s been in there for too long.

I came in for a break and my wife says: “You’ve been working outside? I can tell. Don’t worry, I don’t mind that you don’t always smell like roses.” 😝🥴

She was working later today and so I made myself a wrap out of the leftover steak and veggies from yesterday, played my Splinterlands quest, and then watched the rest of the new season of New Legends of Monkey before bedtime. 🐵🥰

Still keeping it chill in the dCity. No crimes, so I got my daily income of SIM, BEER, and WEED. Got over 1500 SIM saved up now, gonna’ have to check the market here pretty quick.

Got my Holybread tasks done as well. 😄

I’ve been dethroned once again. 😡 Just outside the top ten, though, so not bad.

My Splinterlands quest was Earth splinter today. Got it done in no time! Five for five wins!!! 🏆

Broke back up into Diamond I! 😄

I was able to complete the quest in Diamond I with a potion. Yet another day of rediculous, insulting rewards:

The FitBit trophies are messed up the past couple days, so even though I did get my ten thousand steps for the day, I have to use the trophy photo from yesterday. 😢
