Dec. 27, 20: Oculus, Hiking, AutomaticWin, DoubleDay, TV, and Games

Up at five this morning and another hour short. I made it through the afternoon without crashing, though.

Did my usual morning routine and was happy to see that my expectations were utterly defied! Bitcoin broke upward on rising volumes regardless of weekend or not and printed another new all time high! 🤑

The parabolic curve is starting to go vertical, so we may see a blow-off top here soon... I wouldn’t be too surprised to see $30k before we pull back, though. Been really tempted to start taking some profit, but haven’t sold anything yet.

We stocked up pretty good last weekend, so we didn’t even need to go grocery shopping today. I had to run into the smoke store, so I did in the afternoon and picked up a couple things at the local grocery store on the way back. Was hoping they’d have some Eggnog, but they were all sold out. 😢

Round about sunrise we headed out to pick up Lady for our walk out in the woods. Had to work a little for it, but I scored another #AutomaticWin! 💪

Was wicked cold to start off! Was well below freezing and felt even colder. I suppose it is the dead of winter.

Been super cloudy here lately, even had some snow for Christmas morning, but I’m missing the sunshine a little.

Can’t escape the fact that there’s hunters out there. Spotted this decrepit stand rotting in a tree out there. 😡

Doggies had a great time running around off the leash. Still, don’t know what Dude’s deal is but he runs way ahead of us on the way back, so he went on the leash for a while until we’d gotten across all the roads.

Got all the way to the end of the road where we usually turn around. The river that blocks the path off there was completely frozen over except where the horses had busted it up.

Not a whole lot else going on for the rest of the day. Like I said, I ran into town for a couple quick errands. Otherwise, I played some Oculus.

Finished up I Expect You to Die in like no time. There’s still some challenges to unlock and the speed runs, but otherwise I solved it. Was fun, but once again too short.

Played some Rec Room for a bit. Tried to play a quest one with three other people versus NPC enemies. I really liked it, but I got matched up with little kids and one of them thought it was funny to keep shooting our teammates in the back and then saying “sorry.” Didn’t have the patience to deal with that annoyance, so played some more Pistol Whip and Beat Saber.

By that point I’d scored a solid #DoubleDay! 👍 Wenche made super duper yummy pasta and meat sauce for dinner with homemade sauce from homegrown tomatoes. Was excellent!!! 😋

Went to watch a bit of TV and was out pretty quickly.

Hooray! No crisis or robbery in my dCity today!!! 🥳 The taxes and unemployment took a bit of a bite, but got some solid SIM for the day. Crime rate continues to rise despite all efforts to the contrary.

Just couldn’t get the arena wins in Holybread again today. 🤬 I made the mistake of winning and moving up into the fifteenth position, so I’m stuck up against opponents I just can’t beat.

Fallen back a slot, but still having arena troubles. Nearly got enough for a Legendary Hero, not sure it will be worth starting from zero.

They finally gave us a chance to get one water. I’ve started a basic brew, but haven’t sold it yet. Seems like you need even higher quality water to brew the ale, but I’m still not willing to spend CBM just to try and figure out what they heck is going on.

Honestly thought I would play today, but ended up just leaving the browser window open the whole time and ignoring it. Still a little time left to try to get some more potions...
