Oooh! Just shy of a #DoubleDay again! I probably should have done a lap around the house for those last few hundred, but still, pulling my lifetime average up quickly. 😁

Started off the morning with the usual routine and posted, then spent most of the rest of the morning working on the Solairitas Weekly News Update. I kind of restructured it a little and added some more information ℹ️...a bit of evolution to the post. There was a lot of news, especially with the new @solairibot account.

After I got that all done and shifted around some SE tokens, I went on PYPT over on The Ramble. It’s a great way to meet some cool people very involved with Steem and a way to get your posts a little bit of attention. If you’re feeling a lack of exposure, you should come and participate! 😀

Of course, I had to kill a bit of time on the SuXbox. Not much, but enough to make it a rush to get my walk in before going to work. 😝

Had time to do a solid six kilometers, though. Not too shabby.

The sun, the sun, my kingdom for the sun! ☀️ Yet ANOTHER gray day. Maybe I should take up flying...like my Dad says: “It’s always sunny above the clouds.” ☁️

It seems my heading out for a walk interrupted a standoff between our cat and the neighbor’s. As soon as it saw me, he recognized that the tables had turned and he was outnumbered, and so hightailed it home.

Kitty said “Meow.”
which, roughly translated, means: “That’s right, son, you betta’ run! Punk-ass biatch!”

He’s looking a little worse for wear lately. It seems this is not their first confrontation. He’s a scrapper, though, and can hold his own.

This is the view overlooking the land I’m eyeing for The Solairitas Project. I guess it wouldn’t have been the best energy production day, but some is better than none.

On our zombie mission today we were trying to get Maxine through the prison to the machine that will hopefully cure her mind control. All of the zombs in the area were inside the prison with us, so we got through and then blew it up (no going back that way!). We’re on a direct route now to the building where the machine is housed.

Unfortunately, Diana has control over basically all zombies and humans within several miles radius of us, and they’re all coming straight to that building! Next mission is going to be tense!!!

One puny zombie evaded and no warnings.

So I had to make a tough decision: forego the daily quest and not risk losing Diamond or go for the daily quest. I took the risk and, of course, caught a losing streak out of Diamond. My quest was three wins with no neutral, so not too hard but I didn’t bother about getting a potion charge.

Still, my gamble paid off! I completed the quest and then was able to get just over threshold to avoid being reset to Silver! 🤙🏆

It was definitely worth it...got a new gold foil legendary!! 😃

I didn’t push my luck any further and waited for the season to end. Only one epic.

That did allow me to level my Boogeyman so that it has armor break

and my Manticore got extra life and thorns! 👍

In the evening I taught calculus. We covered a new topic: trigonometric integrals. These problems involve powers or products of powers of trigonometric functions.

Definitely not the students’ favorite, as it generally requires using trig identities to manipulate the problem into a u-substitution which also requires a lot of algebraic manipulation, so they do end up often being quite a lot of work. Wait till they see trigonometric substitution next class! 😝😂
