Oct. 10, 20: AutomaticWin, MSP Waves, a Movie, and Games
Made it till five today and only half an hour short, so I guess I’ll have to be happy with that. The motivation really continues to be minimal, but I’ve been trying to crack the whip a little and try and get something done.
Will be interesting to see if emojis work today. 🧐 I’m not editing, where the issue seems to be, but I saved the draft earlier and have come back to it. We’ll see. I have a feeling they’ll be ok. 👌
Got the morning routine done. Not too much going on. BTC had a slight pullback from the spike, but still holding up a couple of percent. Hive popped a couple of percent on top of that, so it was nice to see my wallet balance recover a little. 😃
Chatted for a bit over on Discord and then headed out pretty early for our walk. Been lazy about going out the past TWO weeks, so it was good to get a solid five kilometers in for the #AutomaticWin. 💪
Not a bad start to a fall morning. I’ll take sixties any day! Was able to pass on the heavy stuff and the hat came off basically instantly.
Out right with the sun today, but pretty much clear skies even before it was out, just a mild haze that burned off right away.
As we walked by the school these three cranes came in for a landing. Was so super cool, they just like held their wings steady pulled about halfway in and glided right down.
Looks like they’re starting to harvest the corn 🌽 hope they get a good yield this year, been really dry! We looked for some ears that might have been tossed aside and left to rot, but it seemed like the rabbits 🐰 and squirrels 🐿 had already taken care of them.
We did a swing past the pond and saw one turtle 🐢 bloop under the water (after I said I thought it was a stick). We weren’t seeing anything else and then all of a sudden realized there were froggies 🐸 all over!
They were everywhere, just chillin’ and catching some rays. 😎
Crazy how they pop out once you see the first one!

Thistles never cease to amaze. That’s got to be like big Golden Arches to bugs.
Not too much else going on during the day. Spent some intimate time with the ol’ ball and chain and then went over to MSP Waves for crimmy’s show. I missed all the fork talk. By the time I got there it was all about “The idea of taking a better mental shit.” -crimsonclad. She said not to quote her on that. 😂
I did do a little more work on the code I’m looking at, but nothing really significant. More or less just found the place where it’s actually writing to the chain and I’ll work my way backwards from there.
In the evening Wenche made eggs and bacon for dinner and then we watched the new animated Spider-Man: Into the Multiverse. The animation was absolutely amazing, and even though it pushed my buttons a little that they turned him into a black kid, it wasn’t too bad since they were bringing in all different kinds of Spider-Mans from the various dimensions.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay awake, and though I would have liked to, I fell asleep shortly into it.
No crime in my dCity today! 🥳 Got my dailies and am already back up to 300 SIM, not too bad. A ways to go before the next move...never mind the crime rate, probably going to go for another token generator.
Not too much of a struggle getting my Holybread tasks done today. Feeling good about having enough gold come refill time and one of my heroes leveled up. 😁
Sitting in about the same spot right now. Not sure if I’m going to be able to get back into the top ten any time soon.
Between only doing the free quests on CryptoBrewmaster and only certain ingredients being available on certain days, it’s pretty slow going now.
Just gathering ingredients at this point, but for what, four CBM? I’m not sure if it’s even really worth the time.
Only four days left in the season now. Really feeling the pressure to try and advance at least a little. Been telling myself that all the maxed out gold bullshit decks have probably gotten higher up by now. Watch a level 3 Lord Anushole plop down on the first game I play...
