Woke up mind-numbingly early this #SublimeSunday. Seems four o’clock or thereabouts is the new normal. 😢 Fell asleep before seven, though, so only a half an hour short.

Woke up to the news that WLeo got hacked and someone minted tokens out of thin air and dumped. The price of LEO had fallen hard and while I felt a little guilty for taking advantage of a misfortune, I did pick up a bit more at a discount. Thirty percent off was good enough for me, I have faith that it will rebound. 🤑

Not a lot going on otherwise that early in the morning. Just did the usual and got a head start on my post for the day. Seems like the rally in BTC may be stalling out, wasn’t very much volume to begin with, and with a CME gap forming it looks like we might be in for some downside (although if the volumes keep dragging like they are, it might just get range bound).

We were up and basically ready to go, but there was still an hour before daylight, so I putzed around the house and got some odds and ends done. Once there was at least enough sunshine to be able to see, we headed over and got Lady for her weekly romp in the woods. We hoofed it pretty good to begin but both of us scored our #AutomaticWin and so we relaxed somewhat.

I’m surprised to hear myself say it in the fifties, but it wasn’t that bad out! Kinda’ cloudy starting out, but they burned off long before we made it back to the car.

Love getting out here. Not the brightest or warmest of mornings, but food for the soul nonetheless.

Can see even more fall colors than last week. 😀

By the time we got back, it was like a completely different day. The hat had come off long ago.

It’s a neat little stretch of road here, but we did have to dodge a relatively high amount of traffic today. Not sure why the path doesn’t go alongside. 🤔

Didn’t really see too much wildlife today. There were chipmunks all over in the trees and the doggies spent a lot of time chasing their ghosts, but other than that just this little caterpillar:

Well, that’s not entirely true. We picked SIX ticks off of EACH of the dogs! 😡 They were out like crazy! Last ditch effort before the wintertime, I suppose.

After we got back, I got my post done as quick as I could and then we headed into town to do the grocery shopping.

I had a meeting at one, but amazingly we made it back in time to put everything away, make myself a sandwich for lunch, and jump into the meeting with a minute to spare. 😁

It was the monthly meeting of the Libertarian Executive Committee, and it actually went really smoothly - got done in just over an hour, which is unusual! Was cool too, we had a guest speaker from Ranked Choice Voting, an organization trying to amend the Michigan Constitution to include ranked choice with instant runoff. As a party, we already use and endorse it, so it seems like a natural fit. We all know that an all or nothing binary choice isn’t much of a choice, something needs to give.

Watched a little tv and then headed out into the back yard to burn the burn pile and the massive amount of cardboard that had backed up in the garage. Was a calm day as far as the wind, so it started up nice and was well behaved. I would much rather recycle the cardboard, and I used to, but the dumbasses in this town kept throwing garbage in there, so they stopped doing it. 🤬 At least I divert a little out of the waste stream...put the ashes on the garden to replenish the carbon.

Wenche made steaks 🥩 and smashed potatoes 🥔 for dinner. 😋 I tried to watch some more tv, but I couldn’t keep my eyes open and fell asleep at baby time again, like around seven. 😒

Another day of no crime in my dCity today! 🤩 The taxes have lowered as well, so I’m doing a bit better at the moment. My crime rate actually fell, but I think that’s the tech kicking in temporarily.

I looked at Military Industrial Complex, it’s relatively expensive, but then you share in the war tax...not really for me, though, I don’t think (principles over greed - even in a virtual world).

Got all my Holybread tasks done. 👍 More than two days left and I’ve got my gold for potions all set. Doesn’t take too much more to repair items, so I should be good to up some stats here soon.

I got knocked all the way back to 18, but was able to fight my way up to my same position as before. 💪

Unbelievable! How about this for being as close to winning as possible while losing?!?!?! 😡

I’m still gathering CryptoBrewmaster ingredients. Taking days to do it at this point. The only one I have left to get is yeast, but guess what? It isn’t available today, so I’m just doing the other ones and waiting.

I understand the game is in beta and things will change, especially in response to abuse, but if they leave it this way, I think they’ve killed it.

With the clock ticking, I was really feeling the need to play some today. I even opened it up in the browser and got set to go. Then, I just didn’t. Ignoring it has definitely gotten easier.
