I realized the strategies you find out there on how to obtain more DEC in battles are inconsistent with reality. So I decided to crunch the numbers.

ECR regenerates at a rate of 25% every 24 hours, or 1.04% per hour. To maximize your potential DEC earnings, it is recommended to play no more than about 25 Ranked battles per day. (Splinterlands)

In Splinterlands less is more and that's what I want to show you.
How could a player with a 0 ECR between 6am of day 1 and 24h of day 7 optimize his or her rewards?
After modelling this scenario the magic number will be: 147 battles, to be carried out during 7 days. This number increases with a higher initial ECR.
For ease of calculation, it is assumed that you keep the same rank, with a maximum reward per battle of 100 (or 100%).
Strategy: During the first 5 days the battles must be kept to a minimum (about 10) to complete the daily quest, by day 6 you will execute 65/147 battles, and the remainder on day 7.
I will detail these strategies in another post but for now I'll let you check the results in the graph below.
Finally, if following this pattern does not match your expectations of a possible ranking, or you like to battle more, I would suggest closing the day with an ECR of ~ 60% then wait about 15 hours without battles. This tactic will allow you to perform and average of 25 battles per day, while still optimizing your rewards.

Al modelar este escenario se llega un número mágico: 147 batallas a ser realizadas durante 7 días. Este número aumenta entre mayor sea el ECR inicial.
Por facilidad de cálculo se asume que se mantiene el mismo escalafón, con un recompensa máxima por batalla de 100 (o 100%).
Estrategia: Durante los primeros 5 días las batallas se deben mantener al mínimo (unas 10) para cumplir el daily quest, al día 6 deberán ejecutar 65/147 batallas en acumulado, y el resto en el día 7.
Detallaré más estas estrategias en otro post, les dejo revisar los resultados en la gráfica.
Por último, si seguir este patrón no concuerda con tus expectativas de un posible escalafón, o te gusta batallar más, la recomendación es cerrar el día con un ECR de ~60% y esperar unas 15 horas sin batallar. Esta estrategia te permitirá realizar un promedio de 25 batallas por día y aún así optimizar tus recompensas.
