There have been many report lately of phising scam and DEC missing and have been found out that it has been used to rent the card of the hacker for so much high.

Take this for picture for example, You can see how much DEC they rent for just common card which is Venari Heathsmith Level 1

Please note that this account is already banned according to admin in telegram and they are already aware of the hacking incident. We do believe with our Splinterlands Team but we should also be very careful with the sites, our keys and passwords.

Here are some tips you can use for added protection:

1.You should always back up your password.

Always keep a backup of your password whether offline copy of like flash drive, cloud storage or in a piece of paper.

2.Never use the same password for email and Splinterlands. It is recommended to use different passwords and use a end to end encrypted Password Manager to generate new passwords

3.Please keep Active Authority turned on. This can be accessed in settings.

4.Use hive keychain for transactions and never copy paste Active/Owner/Keys or Master Password. For Mobile users, please download hive keychain app and use internal browser to interact with markets to avoid keys copy/pasting.

5.Never click on any links/offers you receive in DM or someone claiming to be a tech support. Tech support will never DM you first unless asked. Also you are not allowed to share your passwords, keys or personal secret information with tech support. SO never share anything personal especially on public channels

6.Save your keys offline. Remember "Not your keys Not your Crypto"
