My Weekly Battle Challenge - SPINEBACK TURTLE

Hi, Welcome to My Weekly Battle Challenge, now is Spineback Turtle time. Spineback Turtle is one of my favorite water mini tank, along side with Kelp Initiate. It has good health, some armor, and thorn ability, definitely very helpful in Little League Rulesets (Only Monsters & Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles), and sometime we find opportunity where it can perform superbly. In this post, I will share 2 battle challenges.

Regarding I play in silver league, I will use spineback turtle which has a Thorns Ability. I am sharing 2 of my battle challenges, each has its own circumstances which has made me utilize Spineback Turtle differently. Here are them:

BATTLE #1 Little League Rulsets

Mana pool : 18

Battle Plan:

• I would used spineback turtle as my main tank
• No abilities from any monsters means no snipe and sneak
• I picked Alric Stormbringer as my summoner, I will use magic attack (no magic reflect and void)
• added Stone Hardfish as an extra meat wall

Battle Progress

• Round 1 : damage dealing, nothing crucial
• Round 2 : opponent tank died
• ROund 3 : spineback turtle finally died in his duty, but opponent already lost too much
• Round 4 : opponent mage, life sapper, died. game over. Battle ended at Round 6

round 3 started without opponent tank, he died faster than my turtle

when round 4th started, opponent managed to kill the turtle, but its already too late

Key Factors

• spineback turtle has more Health + Armor than Xenith Monk
• opponent total damage per turn is lower, using too many meat shield

BATTLE #2 Super Sneak Rulsets

Battle Plan:

• I wanted to use spineback turtle on my back, to trap sneakers hitting its Thorns
• I was afraid opponent might use same tactic, so I used magic attack which led me pick Alric Stormbringer as my summoner agaun
• I had two option, Brought 3 mages or brought Djinn Oshannus with a healer... I chose the second one

Battle Progress

• Round 1 : My Spineback turtle killed the chicken, and that Elven died due to Thorns
• Round 2 : damage dealing, nothing crucial
• ROund 3 : Oshannus killed Djin Chawala... GG, Battle ended on Round 4th

When Djin Chwala died on round 3, everything settled
