[Pelacor Arbalest] Share your Battle challenge (1)

First attempt at the Pelacor Arbalest share your battle challenge, A ranged double striker which can deal quite a bit of damage if left alone, at higher levels is also a flying unit which allows it to hit other flying units better.

Pros:

  • Has Double Strike, which effectivity doubles its damage
  • Ranged attacker
  • Has flying at level 5, good in earthquake matches

  • No armor
  • Low Health
  • Cost is not ideal

Battle rules

The mana available is not really ideal and the selection of elements is quite difficult to choose from, I will be betting that my opponent will be running more magic units and pick to field magic reflect units plus there is the target practice ruleset which makes all magic and range units have snipe which does change the lineup a bit.

SummonerGrandmaster Rathe is extremely good to use since it gives void armor to all your units and amplify with a single point of armor to all units which is quite good since it makes all magic attacks hit armor first plus the amplify increases the magic reflect damage by one which can hurt those void magic units
Main tank, Magic ReflectBlinding Reflector with its low cost and high armor paired with the grandmaster rathe it becomes quite a strong main tank since those magic attacks can't bypass its armor anymore and with the amplify those reflected damages will hurt more
Magic Reflect, Flying, Holy protectionPelacor Conjurer with the holy protection it gets one free negate, with its flying it can dodge those range and melee attacks
Magic Damage, Triage, StrengthenDjinn Renova with its triage it works quite well in this ruleset with all units having snipe it will hit the 2nd position which is part of the backline allowing for it to be healed
Healer, DispelVenari Crystalsmith with its heal it will keep the main tank alive for as long as it can while dispel can remove the enemies positive effects
Range damage, Double Strike, Flying, Star of the ChallengePelacor Arbalest, the star of the hour with its double strike its quite a menace since it can do quite a lot of damage in a short amount of time plus its a flying unit which means it can negate the flying ability dodge increase.
Filler unitSoul Fiend a zero cost unit which is great in this low mana battle as it will act as a free shield.

Now on to the Battle

Round 1

Quite unlucky as they went with a Quix the Devious making my team lose 1 point of speed and 1 point of range damage well 1/3 of my team lost 1 point of range damage which is not that good for me.

They did use 2 magic units which great for my magic reflect damage, sadly they did also strip my armor away which negates my summoner's buff.

This round no units were taken out and only a bit of HP was traded but I feel that I won this round since i did do more damage this round.

Round 2 & 3

Gained back the summoner's given armor as their armor striper was killed by the magic reflect which is great since it gave my whole team back their free damage negate.

The double heals on the team does help a lot since they are keep the unit on the team topped up allowing them to reflect more damage and stop my range units from reaching the front of the team.

The end of these 2 round, they lost 3 units on their team while none of the units on my team went down which is pretty good and this does greatly increase the chance of victory.

Round 4 to The Last Round

the round does start with a great advantage to my team since i do still have a full stack while they are only left with 3 units, it plays out as expected with the snipes taking out their remaining backrow, their main tank does finally take out my main tank but under the remaining units it was quickly taken out.

Strategy Talk

The strategy was revolves around using multiple healer and a good subtank since the ruleset gives snipe to all magic and range units so a good subtank will help in protecting the precious backline.

Pelacor Arbalest is a unit that I like to use a lot in my lineups as it has double strike which is good for a lot of ruleset and the damage it deals is not bad

Your team lineup is full of surprises on the battlefield.
I like the concept of passive income and compound interest.
