For the Social Media Challenge of this Week I’ll do a review of the Riftwatchers monsters of the Death ☠️ element considering Gold 🏅 league level.

COMMONS

NIGHT GHOUL
Abilities: Taunt and Forcefield.
Mana Cap: 40+, I don’t like this card so much due to his slow speed (he can miss a lot) and high mana cost. Although Taunt is a good ability, he can be easily countered by magic damage or Giant Killer. Not only that, I think a card like Cursed Windeku or Diemonshark (Water Element) are better than him with a lesser mana cost.
Best Summoners: Thaddius Brood, Owster Rotwell and Mimosa Nightshade countering the magic attacks.
Best Rule Sets: Counterspell, Equal Opportunity, Weak/Lost Magic.
Average Price: $ 0.18/BCX
Rating: 6/10 (Not necessary! 😕)

Habilidades: Provocar e campo de força.

Mana Cap: 40+, não gosto muito desta carta devido à sua velocidade lenta (ele pode errar muito) e alto custo de mana. Embora Provocar seja uma boa habilidade, ele pode ser facilmente combatido por dano mágico ou habilidade Matador de Gigante Não só isso, acho que cartas como Windeku Amaldiçoado ou Diemonshark (Elemento Água) são melhores que ele com um custo de mana menor.

Mana Cap: 20+, to be honest I think I used this card only once or twice. Although I don’t consider this card bad, I think she is very situational and don’t synergyze well with the Death deck In general. Where we usually want to pick a main tank like Cursed Windeku, Harklaw or Dark Ha’on and fill with mages, ranged or sneak monsters.
Best summoners: any summoner will work well.
Best Rule Sets: Stampede, Spreading Fury, Up Close and Personal and Rise of The Commons.
Average Price: $ 0.15/BCX
Rating: 6/10 (Not necessary!😐)

Habilidades: Alcançar e Atropelar.

Mana Cap: 20+, para ser honesto, acho que usei esta carta apenas uma vez ou duas vezes. Apesar de não considerar essa carta ruim, acho que ela é muito situacional e não tem uma boa sinergia com o deck da Morte em geral. Onde geralmente queremos escolher um tanque principal como Cursed Windeku, Harklaw ou Dark Ha'on e preencher com magos, monstros à distância ou furtivos.

Melhores invocadores: qualquer invocador funcionará bem.

Melhores conjuntos de regras: Stampede, Spreading Fury, Close and Personal e Rise of The Commons.

Preço médio: $ 0,15/BCX

Classificação: 6/10 (Não necessário!😐)

RARE

CABALIST
Abilities: Amplify, Demoralize and Giant Killer.
Mana Cap: 30+, in my opinion this is the best card of RW Death set as long as you upgrade him to level 6. His Demoralize ability helps to counter Melee, while Thaddius Brood will debuff -1 Magic and Riftwing and Queen of Crows can counter ranged monsters with Headwinds. For this reason he will synergyse well with many summoners and will also allow you to build many creative strategies. Besides that, his amplify ability will match perfectly with Thorns ability of Cursed Windeku or even Owster Rotwell magic reflect.
Best summoners: Thaddius Brood, Zintar Mortalis, Mimosa Nightshade and Owster Rotwell.
Best Rule sets: Counterspell, Fire and Regret and Briar Patch.
Average price: $ 0.62/BCX
Rating: 9/10 (Essential!🚀)
Battle Example

Habilidades: Amplificar, Desmoralizar e Matador de Gigantes.

Mana Cap: 30+, na minha opinião esta é a melhor carta da coleção RW do elemento Morte desde que você o atualize para o nível 6. Sua habilidade Desmoralizar ajuda a combater ataque corpo a corpo, enquanto Thaddius Brood irá diminuir o ataque mágico em -1 e Riftwing e Queen of Crows pode contra-atacar monstros à distância com ventos contrários (-1 ataque à distância). Por esta razão, ele terá uma boa sinergia com muitos invocadores e também permitirá que você construa muitas estratégias criativas. Além disso, sua habilidade de amplificar combinará perfeitamente com a habilidade espinhos de Cursed Windeku ou até mesmo com reflexo mágico de Owster Rotwell

Abilities: Close Range, Headwinds, Slow.
Mana Cap: 40+, another good card, one of the weakness of Death element is the slow speed and she will reduce this problem. Her slow ability is very relevant in high mana battles and a good card to pair with Lira the Dark due to her swiftness ability which will work like +2 Speed.
Best Summoners: Thaddius Brood, Mimosa Nightshade and Zintar Mortalis.

Rating: 8.5/10 (Very good! 😄)

Habilidades: De perto, ventos contrários, lento.

Mana Cap: 40+, outra boa carta, uma das fraquezas do elemento Morte é a baixa velocidade e ela reduzirá esse problema. Sua habilidade Lento é muito relevante em batalhas de alta mana e uma boa carta para emparelhar com Lira the Dark devido à sua habilidade de rapidez que funcionará como +2 de velocidade.

Abilities: Flying, Double Strike, Scattershot, Giant Killer and Rust.
Mana Cap: 45+, another card that I rarely use due to his scattershot ability and I own only a level 1 copy. However, his Rust, Double Strike and Flying ability can be very effective in rule sets like Earthquake, Armored Up and Explosive weaponry.
Best summoners: Thaddius Brood and Mimosa Nightshade.
Best Rule Sets: Earthquake, Explosive Weaponry, Armored Up and Keep your Distance.
Average Price: $ 9.77/BCX
Rating: 7/10 (Good to have! 🙂)

Habilidades: Voar, Double Strike, Scattershot, Giant Killer e Rust.

Mana Cap: 45+, outra carta que raramente uso devido à sua habilidade de espalhar e possuo apenas uma cópia de nível 1. No entanto, sua habilidade Rust, Double Strike e Flying pode ser muito eficaz em conjuntos de regras como Terremoto, Blindado e armas explosivas.

Melhores invocadores: Thaddius Brood e Mimosa Nightshade.

Conclusion: good to invest wheter buying or renting in cards like Cabalist and Queen of Crows. Raa can be useful, but not a must in your deck!

!1UP Death Splinter received great cards to improve his performance in high mana battles. Cabalist and Queen of Crows will probably become key cards for the future meta in Modern format.
