[EN/PT] NEW LEGENDARY CARD IN NEUTRAL SPLINTER: VENATOR KINJO

Hello Splinterlands community! I'm very excited about the new rewards system and the new Rewards cards. There are so many updates and news that make us confident about the future of @splinterlands.

Venator Kinjo

In all, there are 12 new Rewards cards available in the rewards system and I've already been awarded an excellent card, Venator Kinjo, which has the new Reflection Shield ability.

Venator Kinjo is a card of legendary rarity, at level (1) it has mana cost (2), (1) melee attack, only (1) health, (2) speed and the Reflection Shield and Clamoufage abilities. Its abilities weigh the low stats of this card.

This new ability makes the unit that has it immune to Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns, and Return Fire. For me it was the missing ability in Splinterlands, as we now have more possibilities to battle Summoner Yodin Zaku, nullifying his Blast ability, if this card is used intelligently (alongside cards with the Taunt ability).

And best of all, this card is basically a wildcard and can be used on any Splinter, as it is from the Neutral Splinter. And things only get better because in the other levels she gains the abilities Immunity, Slow and Amplify.

The Battle

Now every time I see a battle with the combat rule where all units have the Blast ability, I already know which card to use, Venator Kinjo.

Our battle had as a combat rule Super Sneak (where all melee monsters attack the unit of the last enemy position) and (26) mana. Looking at my enemy's battle history, I saw that he was playing consecutively with water splinter and I could also see that he was using the Ruler of the Sea card, which has the Blast ability and could give me some trouble.

Right away I thought about scaling the Venator Kinjo, right after our Djinn Oshannus tank, in order that it can protect the rear units from Ruler of the Sea's magic damage caused by the Blast ability.

And the cool thing is that Venator Kinjo has the Clamoufage ability that hides him from unity with the Opportunity ability, since he only has (1) health. Soon after, I climbed the Venari Wavesmith, which has the ability to give (2) armor to all allied units. As I climbed several cards with low health, in the rear, nothing better than strengthening the defense of cards with melee and ranged attacks.

Afterwards, we climbed the Crustacean King, in order to heal our tank, as he has the ability to heal the unit of the first position.

And finally, we put two cards to make the defense in the last positions, since we have the Super Sneak combat rule in this battle. They were: Pelacor Bandit and Frost Lion, both of melee attack and that will attack the enemy's last position, in addition to performing the defense.

In conclusion, my impressions of Venator Kinjo were very good, if it wasn't put in battle I'm sure the result would be different, despite being a card with low stats, its ability can make all the difference in battle.

Olá comunidade Splinterlands! Estou muito animado com o novo sistema de recompensas e as novas cartas Rewards. São tantas atualizações e novidades que nos deixam seguros quanto ao futuro de @splinterlands.

Venator Kinjo

Ao todo são 12 novas cartas Rewards disponíveis no sistema de recompensas e já fui agraciado com uma excelente carta, Venator Kinjo, que possui a nova habilidade Reflection Shield.

Venator Kinjo é uma carta de raridade lendária, no nível (1) possui custo de mana (2), (1) de ataque corpo a corpo, apenas (1) de vida, (2) de velocidade e as habilidades Reflection Shield e Clamoufage. Suas habilidades ponderam as baixas estatísticas dessa carta.

Esta nova habilidade torna a unidade que a possui imune a Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns e Return Fire. Para mim era a habilidade que faltava em Splinterlands, pois agora temos mais possibilidades de batalhar contra o Summoner Yodin Zaku, anulando sua habilidade Blast, caso está carta seja utilizada de modo inteligente (ao lado de cartas com a habilidade Taunt).

E o melhor de tudo, esta carta é basicamente um curinga e pode ser usada em qualquer Splinter, pois ela é do Splinter Neutro. E as coisas só melhoram porque nos demais níveis ela ganha as habilidades Immunity, Slow e Amplify.

A Batalha

Agora toda vez que ver uma batalha com a regra de combate onde todas as unidades tenham a habilidade Blast já sei que carta usar, Venator Kinjo.

Nossa batalha tinha como regra de combate Super Sneak (onde todos os monstros de ataque corpo a corpo atacam a unidade da última posicão inimiga) e (26) de mana. Olhando histórico de batalha do meu inimigo vi que ele estava jogando consecutivamente com splinter de água e também pude notar que ele utilizava a carta Ruler of the Sea, que tem a habilidade Blast e poderia me dar algum trabalho.

Logo de imediato já pensei em escalar o Venator Kinjo, logo após o nosso tanque Djinn Oshannus, no intuito que ele possa proteger as unidades da retaguarda dos danos mágicos do Ruler of the Sea causados pela habilidade Blast.

E o legal que o Venator Kinjo possui a habilidade Clamoufage que o esconde de unidade com a habilidade Opportunity, uma vez que ele possui somente (1) de vida. Logo após, escalei o Venari Wavesmith, que tem a habilidade de dar (2) de armadura a todas as unidade aliadas. Como escalei várias cartas com pouca quantidade de vida, na retaguarda, nada melhor do que reforça a defesa de cartas com ataque corpo a corpo e a distância.

Depois, escalamos o Crustacean King, afim de cura o nosso tanque, pois ele tem a habilidade de cura a unidade da primeira posição.

E por fim, colocamos duas cartas para fazer a defesa nas últimas posições, uma vez que temos a regra de combate Super Sneak nesta batalha. Elas foram: Pelacor Bandit e Frost Lion, ambas de ataque corpo a corpo e que vão atacar a última posição do inimigo, além de realizar a defesa.

Concluindo, minhas impressões sobre o Venator Kinjo foram muitos boas, caso ela não fosse colocada na batalha tenho certeza que o resultado seria outro, apesar de ser uma carta com baixa estatísticas suas habilidade podem fazer toda diferença em batalha.

Mixed feelings on the new rewards system aside, I can definitely appreciate the new cards that were released. Congrats on getting the new legendary!. While niche, there are some specific uses where his low mana cost is probably better than something that costs more. I've definitely used a 1-cost throwaway to buy a turn for my backline when I was expected Blast or Thorns to mess me up.
