Here is my entry line for this huge contest:

Her head snapped to the side, but her pace never wavered. He noticed her pupils had returned.

Feedback:
*The story is well prepared i.e. Plot, twists, characters' presentation, wording, ambience, story momentum, etc. (I have not gone through every part yet except reading those I mentioned quoted lines from, the last part, and skimming and scanning some posts.)

  1. I would love to read synopsis, plot outline, or brief mentions of what happened in the previous part. This helps me understand the story if I am a new reader and want to start from the middle of the story, like we see in a digest.
  2. 700 to 1000 words post becomes a 7 to 9 minutes read, a typically internet users average reading time spent on an article is about 2 to 3 minutes, but people in reading communities spend more than that, say from 5 to 8 minutes. I think that the story part should be balanced in terms of reading time, it should not be too lengthy and not too short, a 5 to 6 minutes read is fine.
  3. Publishing time between each story part should be around 5 to 6 days, if you are running a contest then it will be easy to engage your audience with both posts running along.
