Splinterlands skins getting revamped, mobile app nearly here!

I suggest lowering skin prices greatly while extending their availability. Refunding current owners would be an easy step back.

Yeah, I want to do kind of an overhaul on skins.

Honestly they are very cool to have but they require too much of an investment at the moment. Enjoying a game outside the gameplay boundaries is very healthy for it's longevity.

I think lowering prices by a lot would bring an oonf effect to the game as people engage with this kind of variety for fun.
Say, 100 dec for a common one, 200 for a rare, 300 for an epic and legendary.

They are still single card skins, so lots of players would be tempted to collect all of them. Players would eventually get tons of them for collecting's sakes if they're that cheap, which is okay since value spent stacks up as more skins are released. A decent dec sink,

Handing them from a chest is an option but I don't think it should be the default or only option of obtaining them. I think including one or two different skins in chests is a good idea though.

But don't use more than one or two out of all of them. It would serve as a way to introduce them to players. "oh btw we have skins!..." Maybe adding a unique reward-only skin would be great.

One last suggestion on this skins topic: reward the top 100 players with a special skin! Create one just for this, make these transferable and change into a new one every month (so players have more than just one season to get them). It's nice thing in a TCG. Like promo-art exclusives.
