Hello guys,

Today I am going to share with you another battle in @splinterlands.

Battle details:
I played with water splinter. And my opponent used a earth splinter against me.

It was a battle of total 15 mana cap with two rules:

Back To Basics: Monsters lose all abilities.

Holy Protection: All monsters have divine shield ability.

I had my ALRIC STORMBRINGER level 1, DJINN OSHANNUS level 1, FURIOUS CHICKEN level 1, CREEPING OOZE level 1 and PIRATE CAPTAIN level 1.
And my opponent had his/her cards as MYLOR CROWLING level 4, FURIOUS CHICKEN level 1 and OAKEN BEHEMOTH level 1.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

~ALRIC STORMBRINGER. level 1

This water summoner adds +1 magic attack to all friendly monsters. It needs 3 mana.

Market.

I wanted to play with magic team so i picked this sumoneer.

~DJINN OSHANNUS. level 1

This is a water monster. At this level it has magic attack(2), speed(5), Health(10) and one ability:
Void: Reduced damage from magic attacks.

It needs 8 mana.
Market.

This monster is a strong mage.

~ FURIOUS CHICKEN. level 1

This is a neutral monster, in this level it has Speed (1), Health (1).

He needs 0 mana.
Market.

I picked this monster because it doesn't need mana.

~CREEPING OOZE. level 1

This is a neutral monster at this level it has speed(1), health(1) and one ability:
Slow: Reduces the speed of all enemy monsters.

it needs 1 mana.
Market.

I picked this monster because I wanted to protect my pirate captain longer.

~PIRATE CAPTAIN. level 1

This is a water monster at this level it has ranged attack(1), speed(2), health(3) and one ability:
Snipe: Targets enemy monsters with reanged, magic or no attack that are not in the first position.

It needs 3 mana.
Market.

I had to use this monster because it is the theme for this week's challenge.

On the battlefield.

My opponent only had one strong monster. So I believed that I will win.

But the battle turned to be closer than I expected.

My tank was still holding on but I was getting worried.

My opponent missed some crucial attacks.

And I won.

In this battle I won 19.4 Dec and 20 League Rating. My strategy did not work well- I only won because my opponent missed a few attacks.

PIRATE CAPTAIN seems like a good monster on higher levels but at current level it is not so great.

I would like having some monsters with stun ability in my team.
