| ¡Hola amigos!, estoy nuevamente por aca para contarles sobre la nueva ilustración que realicé para el concurso de arte en @splinterlands, escogí la carta Splinter de Agua llamada: "Medusa" me gustó por la mitología Griega, el proceso lo dividí en partes, ya que uso una minilaptop y el programa se queda colgado cuando se le van incluyendo más cosas al dibujo. | Hello friends! I'm here again to tell you about the new illustration I did for the art contest at @splinterlands, I chose the Water Splinter card called: "Medusa" I liked it because of Greek mythology, I divided the process into parts , since I use a minilaptop and the program hangs when more things are added to the drawing. |

AND THE PROCESS BEGINS:
| Para comenzar hice el boceto inspirado por la referencia, pero como siempre cambiando la postura de la mujer sin definir mucho las líneas y tener una idea del espacio de la ilustración. | To begin with, I made the sketch inspired by the reference, but as always changing the posture of the woman without defining the lines much and having an idea of the space of the illustration. |
| En segundo lugar comencé pintando la piel, la vestimenta, los guantes y uñas, definiendo solo el cabello de serpientes y todo el rostro con la corona. Usando la herramienta lazo para hacer el lineal y luego pintar con el Bote de pintura, para el sombreado y luces usé el Pincel Aerografo. Durante el pintado decidí cambiar la pose de la cara ya que la posición que estaba en el boceto no me gustó. | Secondly, I started by painting the skin, clothing, gloves and nails, defining only the snake hair and the entire face with the crown. Using the lasso tool to make the lineart and then paint with the Paint Bucket, for the shading and highlights I used the Airbrush Brush. During the painting I decided to change the pose of the face since I didn't like the position that was in the sketch. |
| En esta parte me dediqué a pintar el tronco del cuerpo y los brazos a darle el sombreado y luces, luego le di un poco más de claridad a los guantes y a uno de ellos le coloque un Rubí como el de la referencia logrando todo esto con el Pincel Aerografo cambiando el tamaño y la opacidad en ciertas partes. | In this part I dedicated myself to painting the trunk of the body and the arms to give it the shading and lights, then I gave the gloves a little more clarity and I placed a Ruby on one of them like the one in the reference, achieving all this with the Airbrush Brush changing the size and opacity in certain parts. |
| En esta parte solo me enfoqué en realizar la parte inferior del cuerpo, usando una Textura de Reptil y similar a unas escamas tomando el color base de la referencia y para la parte naranja, utilicé un pincel con punta fina y luego Aerografo para mezclar el color naranja un poco de amarillo y darle sombra. | In this part I only focused on making the lower part of the body, using a Reptile Texture and similar to scales taking the base color from the reference and for the orange part, I used a fine tip brush and then Airbrush to mix the color orange a bit of yellow and shade it. |

| Por último realicé el fondo de la ilustración y decidí hacer unos pilares parecidos a los de la época Griega haciendo uno de ellos partido a la mitad y con una flecha incrustada en él, también un fondo oscuro con un tono azul marino. Usando para todo esto el Pincel Aerógrafo y para los pilares una herramienta de líneas. | Finally, I made the background of the illustration and decided to make some pillars similar to those of the Greek era, making one of them split in half and with an arrow embedded in it, also a dark background with a navy blue tone. Using for all this the Airbrush Brush and for the pillars a line tool. |

Bueno ese fue el resultado final, me llevo un poco más de tiempo hacer todo por el equipo que uso, me tocó hacer todo por partes, guardar en diferentes archivos y luego unirlo a lo otro que fuese dibujando, igual me agrado el resultado. Tengo muchas ansias y espero ganar algún puesto en el concurso.
Well that was the final result, it took me a little longer to do everything because of the equipment I use, I had to do everything in parts, save in different files and then join it to whatever else I was drawing, I still liked the result. I am very excited and I hope to win a place in the contest.
