Battles Of The Day: Poseidon

Update regarding the rewards so far: They still suck. End of statement. Poseidon is one of my favorite cards of the WATER deck, it was also the second Golden Legendary card I got, in fact, I don't remember if I got to have in my collection the normal version of this card, my memory fails me, but anyway, I thought of making some games focused on this card and this was the result:

In this first battle my opponent was not easy at all, since it is always difficult to battle against a Zaku summoner, however, I was quite lucky and I was able to get the victory. My formation and strategy was as follows: For a few days I have been analyzing my entire collection of cards in order to sell those that I no longer use to buy the ones I really need. And while I was looking at my collection I saw a card that I used a few years ago in my strategies and that card is: Peaceful Giant, an excellent defensive card and with many life points. In addition, it is a card that used to be used when in battle you ran into an opponent I knew or a friend, therefore, we placed that card as a sign of "respect" ... those were good times. But anyway, in second position I placed one of the two 0 mana cost cards I used in this formation: Torrent Fiend, a very useful card, since it allows to "cushion", so to speak, the enemy damage and that some important card does not receive it, that is to say, it is the bait. In third position I placed another card from the WATER deck that I like a lot, it is a very powerful and lethal magic attack legendary: Djinn Oshannus. In fourth position and as my self-imposed challenge dictates I placed Poseidon, a card with ranged attack, equally lethal and effective. With useful abilities such as "Shield" to reduce enemy damage and "Blast". And in last position is the second card of 0 mana cost and another "bait" and also one of the most classic cards of all Splinterlands: Furious Chicken.

In this second battle, as in the first one, two cards are repeated in formation: Djinn Oshannus and Poseidon (logically). In first position it occurred to me to place a card that I used to use a lot, but over time I left it a little displaced by the new cards that were coming out, however, in recent weeks I have returned to use it more often and this card is quite powerful, it is a fairly complete card in terms of stats in general and I should use it even more often, that card is: Goblin Mech. In second position I placed a classic of classics for me and my first Golden Legendary card, my always faithful: Spirit Miner, I am very fond of this card because it was my first golden legendary. In third position, as I already mentioned, is present: Djinn Oshannus. Continuing with the formation is a card that I personally like a lot and is very useful because of its ability "Protect" and that card is: Venari Wavesmith, an excellent card. In penultimate position is a card that depending on the situation and how my strategy is useful, but many times, the truth is a card that I must learn to use better and that card is: River Hellondale. And in last position, there is, of course, Poseidon.
