Battles of The Day: Riverboat Captain [ENG-ESP]

I really didn't expect not to like the new rewards cards and from their premise of not being able to be (for now) sold or transferred is something that I still don't like, but I have no choice but to wait and accumulate enough cards for when they can be sold and keep those cards that will be useful in my collection and one of those cards that I am 100% sure I will keep in my collection is the main card of today, which is: Riverboat Captain. A magic attack card that, although I consider a little high its mana cost (6 mana points) for the "few" stats it has, it complements those lacks with its "Blast" ability, which in many occasions is always useful. For that reason, today's battles and post are dedicated to: Riverboat Captain.

In this first battle one of the main "Battle Rules" was: "Reversed Speed", so to make the most of this rule I had to use cards with low speed points, so knowing that, this was the strategy for this first battle: In first position I placed one of the cards that I like to use when the "Reversed Speed" rule is active and that card is: Torhilo The Frozen, an excellent card capable of resisting a very considerable amount of enemy damage, has excellent stats of life, attack and shield. And thanks to its single point of speed, it is a perfect card for this occasion. In second position is another card that has only one (1) point of speed, being an excellent card for the "Reversed Speed" rule, it also has the "Taunt" ability, so it is the target of most enemy attacks and in this way I can protect other of my cards in the formation and as it is a card that has twelve (12) points of life, it is able to resist several attacks, however its negative aspect (at least being in LVL 1) is that it has only one (1) point of attack, so offensively it is weak and that card is: Wave Brood.

In third position is the protagonist card of today: Riverboat Captain, a card that I am 100% sure I will keep in my collection and I hope to get many of these cards to be able to raise it in LVL. In fourth position is another very good card of the Magic Attack type, that card is: Captain's Ghost, a card that has the ability "Affliction", a very good card, which whenever I have the opportunity I use it in my strategies. In penultimate position is another of my recent favorite cards belonging to the new rewards cards, that card is: Swamp Spitter, which is a card of the Rank Attack type that has the excellent ability "Repair", also its design is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so for me it is perfect. And occupying the last position, a card with the ability "Resurrect", is the card: River Hellondale.

BATTLE 1

In this second battle, one of the active rules was: Wands Out, so I could only use Magic Attack type cards, therefore the strategy for this second battle is as follows: IN first position place: Djinn Oshannus, since his "Void" ability is perfect for this occasion, this way he will be able to reduce the amount of enemy damage. While in second position I placed the classic card: Prismatic Energy, which is another perfect card for this occasion since it has the ability: Magic Reflect, being able to return the Magic Attack to my opponent's card. In third position is the protagonist card of today: Riverboat Captain, whose ability "Blast" was what made it stand out from the other cards, but another of the rules in this battle was: Explosive Weaponry, so this rule adds the ability "Blast" to all the cards on the battlefield.

In fourth position I placed a card that due to its ability "Protect" is very useful because it adds +2 shield to all my cards, it is perfect due to the third Battle Rule, which is: Weak Magic, which is that magic attacks inflict damage first to the shields of the cards before the life points, so that +2 shield that adds the ability "Protect" is perfect for this occasion and that card is: Venari Wavesmith. In penultimate position is a card well known in my strategies and that could not miss in a battle exclusively of Magic Attack type cards and that card is, of course: Spirit Miner. And to close the formation of this battle, in last position is: Nerissa Tridawn, which is a card capable of resisting several enemy attacks thanks to its good score of amount of life.

BATTLE 2

Realmente no esperaba que no fuesen a gustar las nuevas cartas rewards y es que desde su premisa de no poder ser (por ahora) vendidas o transferidas es algo que aún no me gusta, pero ya no me queda de otra que esperar y acumular las cartas suficientes para cuando se puedan vender y quedarme con aquellas cartas que me vayan a servir en mi colección y una de esas cartas que estoy 100% seguro que mantendré en mi colección es la carta protagonista del día de hoy, la cual es: Riverboat Captain. Una carta de ataque mágico que, aunque considero un poco elevado su coste de mana (6 puntos de mana) para los “pocos” stats que tienen, complementa un poco esas carencias con su habilidad “Blast”, la cual en muchas ocasiones siempre es útil. Por ese motivo, las batallas del día de hoy y el post están dedicadas a: Riverboat Captain.

En esta primera batalla una de las “Reglas de Batalla” principales era: “Reversed Speed”, por lo que para aprovechar el máximo de esta regla debía utilizar cartas de bajos puntos de velocidad, así que sabiendo eso, esta fue la estrategia para esta primera batalla: En primera posición coloque una de las cartas que más me gusta utilizar cuando está activa la regla “Reversed Speed” y esa carta es: Torhilo The Frozen, una excelente carta capaz de resistir una cantidad de daño enemigo muy considerable, cuenta con excelentes stats de vida, ataque y escudo. Y gracias a su solo punto de velocidad, es una carta perfecta para esta ocasión. En segunda posición se encuentra otra carta que cuenta con tan solo un (1) punto de velocidad, siendo una carta excelente para la regla “Reversed Speed”, además cuenta con la habilidad “Taunt”, por lo que es el objetivo de la mayoría de los ataques enemigos y de esta manera puedo proteger a otras de mis cartas en la formación y como es una carta que cuenta con doce (12) puntos de vida, es capaz de resistir varios ataques, sin embargo su aspecto negativo (al menos estando en LVL 1) es que cuenta con apenas un (1) punto de ataque, por lo que ofensivamente es débil y esa carta es: Wave Brood.

En tercera posición se encuentra la carta protagonista del día de hoy: Riverboat Captain, una carta que estoy 100% seguro que mantendré en mi colección y espero poder obtener muchas de estas cartas para poder subirla de LVL. En cuarta posición se encuentra otra carta del tipo Ataque Mágico muy buena, esa carta es: Captain´s Ghost, una carta que cuenta con la habilidad “Affliction”, una carta muy buena, la cual siempre que tengo la oportunidad la utilizo en mis estrategias. En penúltima posición se encuentra otra de mis recientes cartas favoritas pertenecientes a las nuevas cartas rewards, esa carta es: Swamp Spitter, la cual es una carta del tipo Ataque de Rango que cuenta con la excelente habilidad “Repair”, además su diseño es una Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, así que para mí es perfecta. Y ocupando la última posición, una carta con la habilidad “ Resurrect”, es la carta: River Hellondale.

BATTLE 1

En esta segunda batalla, una de las reglas activas era: Wands Out, por lo que tan solo podría utilizar cartas del tipo Ataque Mágico, por lo tanto la estrategia para esta segunda batalla es la siguiente: EN primera posición coloque a: Djinn Oshannus, ya su habilidad “Void” es perfecta para esta ocasión, de esta manera podrá reducir la cantidad de daño enemigo. Mientras que en segunda posición coloqué la carta clásica: Prismatic Energy, la cual es otra carta perfecta para esta ocasión ya que cuenta con la habilidad: Magic Reflect, pudiendo de esta manera devolverle el Ataque Mágico a la carta de mi contrincante. En tercera posicion se encuentra la carta protagonista del dia de hoy: Riverboat Captain, cuya habilidad “Blast” era lo que la hacía resaltar sobre las demás cartas, pero otra de las reglas en esta batalla era: Explosive Weaponry, por lo tanto esta regla le añade la habilidad “Blast” a todas las cartas en el campo de batalla.

En cuarta posición coloqué una carta que debido a su habilidad “Protect” es muy útil ya que al agregar +2 de escudo a todas mis cartas, es perfecta debido a la tercera Regla de Batalla, la cual es: Weak Magic, la cual consiste en que los ataques mágicos infligen daño primero a los escudos de las cartas antes que a los puntos de vida, por lo que esos +2 de escudo que añade la habilidad “Protect” es perfecto para esta ocasión y esa carta es: Venari Wavesmith. En penúltima posición se encuentra una carta muy conocida en mis estrategias y que no podría faltar en una batalla exclusivamente de cartas del tipo Ataque Mágico y esa carta es, por supuesto: Spirit Miner. Y para cerrar la formación de esta batalla, en última posición se encuentra: Nerissa Tridawn, la cual es una carta capaz de resistir varios ataques enemigos gracias su buen puntaje de cantidad de vida.
