I hope you're in good health and happy mood.

The season ending is near and I'm very excited about the reward chest collection of my Alt account. I managed to grab 99 reward chests so far and it's still 1 day left.
Let's see how many reward chest I can accumulate till the season ending.

I couldn't participated in this week's 'Social Media Challenge' due to health issue. Gets caught in the seasonal flu. Feeling a bit better today and tried to write this week's 'Share your Battle Challenge' with the Portal Spinner.

Just like the previous challenges, I'll share my best battle of this week using the Portal Spinner in my team.
I'll also share my strategy, team combination, and thoughts about the Portal Spinner.

BATTLE STATS AND ABILITIES OF THE PORTAL SPINNER

Before I share my strategy and battle, let's talk about the stats and abilities of this card.

The Portal Spinner is a Rare Life unit card from the Chaos Legion edition.
This card costs 5 mana to use in the battle which makes this card a mid mana-cost card.
Talking about the abilities, this ranged attack monster has the 'scattershot' ability starts from level 1, which makes this card able to perform attacks on random enimies.
From level 5 it gains the 'snare' ability. With this ability, it removes the flying ability of the opponent's monsters and do not miss any attacks.
Stats of this card also increases through levels, from 2 ranged attacks, 2 speeds, 1 armor, and, 3 health in level 1, to 3 ranged attacks, 2 speeds, 2 armor, and 4 health in level 5.
At the highest level, the stats of this card are 4 ranged attacks, 3 speeds, 2 armor and, 5 health.

What is the best ruleset and summoner to use Portal Spinner ?

As it's a ranged attack card, therefor the best rulesets to use Portal Spinner are based on ranged attack, like 'close range'. Apart from that we can use the ranged attack cards in any battles except 'broken arrow' ruleset.
About the summoner, General Sloan is the good combo with this card that increases its ranged attack to +1.
Alternatively, the summoner Selenia Sky from the Dragon splinter is also a good choice as it does the same buff +1 ranged attack.

Now, it's time to share my strategy and the lineup for the best battle I won using the Portal Spinner in my team.
Kindly note that I've played a few other battles together with Portal Spinner. And I found this battle most interesting to me.

Ruleset:
Back to Basics: Monsters lose all abilites.
Stampede: The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled monster is killed.
Active Splinter: Earth, Life, Death, Dragon.

GENERAL SLOAN

General Sloan was the obvious choice when playing with a ranged attack focused team which increase the ranged attack of all the friendly monsters +1.
I had also the Selenia Sky, but it was only level 3.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

My strategy works good in this battle. Combination of low mana cost monsters with high ranged attack monster synchronized good.
The low mana cost moderate health monsters soaked the attack from the opponent while the main attack monster continues to do their jobs.
General Sloan did its best by increasing the ranged attack +1 thus increasing the attack power of my ranged attack monsters.
Due to this, I secure my victory.

My Takes On The Portal Spinner

The Portal Spinner is a good card with mid mana cost and good ranged attack power.
Combined with the summoner General Sloan will increase its attack power.
Its armor helps him to withstand the first melee/ranged attack.
Also the scattershot ability makes him to attack random opponent card.
It's a good cost effective card.
