Share Your Battle:DRAGONS | Don't Come Between The Dragon And His Wrath...

Hey there my incredible Splinterlands community,
How are y'all today? I hope you got good rewards yesterday in the EOS.

Splinterlands became a game of nerves. If you're playing it manually and with no bots, I'm sure you get multiple adrenaline rushes every day.
Then again, these little joys fill your heart when you get a pack or a GF card in your reward chests -

Moving forward, Splinterlands brought another 'Share Your Battle Challenge' and this week's featured theme is DRAGON.

Like the previous challenges, I'll share my best battle this week using the summoner and monsters from the Dragon splinter.
I'll also share my strategy, team combination, and thoughts about the Dragon splinter.

Things I Like About Dragons

The best thing about dragons is that they can be your pet.. Just kidding..
Versatility.. Yes, the best thing about Dragons is that they are versatile.
You can use literally any splinter combined with the Dragon splinter.
The majority of the monsters from Dragon splinter are a bit costlier as the majority of them are legendary, but they also have many abilities.
Dragon splinter has a wide range of summoners having buff and debuff effects for every type of attack.
Daria Dragonscale and Camila Sungazer for the melee attack, Selenia Sky and Quix The Devious for the ranged attack, and Delwyn Dragonscale for the magic attack.
Then again, the Archmage Arius can be used for all three attacks.
About the monsters, the dragon splinter is filled with great cards, such as Chaos Dragon, Black Dragon, Gold Dragon, Menticore, Carnage Titan, to name a few of them.
Moreover, with a bit more mana cost, you can build a deadly team from the Dragon splinter.

THE BATTLE

Now, I'll share with you an interesting battle involving the three best dragons, the Diamond Dragon, Black Dragon, and Gold Dragon.

RULESET

Mana Cap: 99
Ruleset:
Close Range: Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.
Stampede: The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled monster is killed.
Active Splinter: Fire, Death, Dragon

My Strategy and Team Setup

SUMMONER

I love playing with a strong magic attack team and for this battle, I chose the Delwyn Dragonscale as I intended to use a magic attack-based team.

TEAM SETUP

---

As I said earlier, my first preference is magic attack-based monsters and the battle was a highest mana cap battle. Therefore, I had enough room for choosing my strongest magic attack team.
Legendary Djinn Muirat was the obvious choice for the tank position.
Cthulhu was placed in the second position because of his big chunk of health as it will become the next tank.
Gold Dragon was the best monster for the third position. It has 3 magic attacks with its blast ability it can deal additional damage to the enemy team.
Next, there is Phantom Soldier. A strong 10 health point card with 3 magic attacks.
In the fifth and sixth positions, there are the Black Dragon and the Golden Dragon. These two monsters are capable of making the enemy team slowest with their 'slow' ability.

My strategy worked absolutely amazing in this battle.
First, it was a great idea to use two 'slow' monsters in this battle, otherwise some of my monsters may get dead even they can attack.
Then Delwyn Dragonscale increased my team's attack power greatly.
Gold Dragon did great job with its 'blast' ability and did some additional damage.
The Phantom Soldier turned out the highest attacking monster of the team and eliminated a few monsters.
The Diamond Dragon did the final blow on the enemy team and eliminated the Supply Runner to bring the winning home.
