Splinterlands - Water Healing Combination
While doing my Water Daily Quest, I found some cool build that I wanted to share with you guys. As I am currently in Silver 3 I think that the mechanic might only work in the lower leagues but higher division players are more than welcome to try this kind of build out and let me know whether they succeed with it!
The Team
Like my last build suggestions this one is also with the new Chaos Legion Summoners. Because this is a water build we are using the new Water Summoner “XXX”. In the beginning I did not really like her because I was used to play water as a magic Splinter. This was one of the reason why I stayed away from it for so long. But the more I play her the more I learn to like her. With the extra armor your monster are basically safe for at least one hit. This makes backline attackers less vulnerable and you are incentivized to use more support units. Furthermore, the one extra speed lets you attack first almost every time which is a huge advantage in tight matches.
Now for the units that are being used. Often this build works very well in match ups witch low mana and where sneak abilities are disabled. This way the support units that I will mention can focus on their job and are not targets of attacks. But this built also works in midrange mana battles because of the variety of tanks that the water splinter offers. The main idea of this build is again to keep your tank as long alive as possible. With the armor ability of the summoner and the armor and melee heavy tanks that this splinter has to offer it is fairly easy to find the perfect fit for the match ups. For the support units, I always choose the following two “Merdaali Guardian” and “Scavo Hireling”. As you can already tell, both are costing 3 mana each which makes them fairly affordable. The first one will focus on the health and the second one on the armor of the tank. Furthermore, it is important to put “Merdaali Guardian” before “Scavo Hireling” because it has more health. In the case of it being in the first attack position it still ahs a good chance of survival because it is not killed with one mana damage.
As for the rest of the team it is important to heavy a chunky tank in front that can absorb a few hits. Like I mentioned before, it all depends how much mana you have available for this battle. Lower battles require lower mana monsters such as “Cruel Sethropod”. In higher mana match ups I prefer to use “Serpent of Eld” because of its Avoid ability. With the extra speed it makes it extra hard to target this monster which is a huge advantage in the long run.
When you have mana left, I always like to add some magic attack damage to the team. This way I can guarantee a break trough the opponents tank if he is not using the same strategy as we do.

I hope I was able to give some of you guys another inspiration for future builds. Let me know, if you have a similar strategy for the water splinter or if you like to play a complete different build! I am always happy to see other peoples ideas in this game!
