Look to the ant, thou sluggard! | Curious Battles 29#

Greetings! Today I return with another curious battle, where a small giant is presented as a crucial piece in a field full of thorny enemies. "Ant Miners" was the warrior of legend in this tough confrontation.

In the first place, two quite popular tanks collide, one known for its "shield" ability and the characteristic heat of its associated Splinter. The other for its great armor and defensive/offensive "thorns" ability, Djinn Chwala vs Living Magma.

The enemy strategy was quite powerful, because apart from the great armor that his main tank already has, he boosted it with the dragon summoner he chose. It was such a strong defense that he resisted until the 4th round, but not before weakening my tank and taking away my second attacker, thanks to his spines. Living Magma fought until the 5th round, leaving the ground ready for "Ant Miners" to clear the battlefield.

In second place, "Radiated Brute" was giving his all, attacking "Djinn Chwala" despite getting hurt at every turn. He managed to deliver the coup de grace against the dragon, but this blow cost him his life, as they both fell in that last grapple in the fourth round. On enemy ground, the chosen champion was "Disintegrator", with improved armor and an ability to reduce the attack of his opponents.

Although the golden demoralizer could not attack from his position, he was an excellent piece in the enemy strategy, which could have turned the game in favor of his allies if my monsters had missed attacks. It was definitely an even battle.

Tenyii Striker appears again, recalling that recently there was a battle challenge where he was the protagonist. And it's no surprise that he is so recurrent, what he offers in battle is not at all negligible. Although his attack was affected by enemy spines and demoralization, he still did quite a lot of damage in enemy lines. Leaving the enemy Cursed Wendiku at 1 life, but dying from its sharp thorns. It also helped to prepare the ground for the fiery mining ant.

On the enemy side, Cursed Wendiku served as a bait trap, because despite not being able to attack from its place, it still did a lot of damage to those who tried to take it down from a distance with physical attacks.

For the fourth place, Kobold Miner tried to hurt the thorny Cursed Wendiku, however, his reduced attack and low life caused him to fall early, in the second round, as a result of getting hurt against the thorns of the golden opponent.

The last confrontation was great, it was a 2vs1 but the two enemy warriors were already quite weak from the previous confrontations. While the fiery ant was very strong because of the life it had gained from its scavenging nature, typical of its ability. With 8 health he faced and defeated the Disintegrator, recovering his attack buff and then defeating the Cursed Wendiku, losing a bit of health in the process but still holding his own on the battlefield.

Curious facts:

Some time ago I made a drawing of this spectacular card, specifically, almost a year ago (09/27/21). At that time, the card was quite frequent among the rewards and its price was quite low, however today it already reaches 0.1$ per unit. Not bad for a small mining ant.

The title of the post comes from this portion of the bible:

Proverbs 6:6-8 -> Look to the ant, thou sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, which, having no guide, overseer or ruler, provideth her meat in the summer and gathereth her food in the harvest.
