Greetings dear friends, here is my entry for the art contest sponsored by @splinterlands and @steemmonsters, where every week is a challenge to meet and enjoy making an illustration, this time I illustrated a Butterfly Dragon, a drawing that allowed me to play with the different tools offered by the program for a good finish. This illustration was designed using the vector program Inkscape, my starting point for the sketch was the head and neck of the dragon, then I made the body edge including the wings, then I filled the wings making it look like the feathers of an ostrich and in the neck and tail I made ripples so that when painting these look like scales, all this was achieved using the Bézier tool which offers the benefit of drawing straight lines and curves in all sizes. To give life to the drawing I took the paint pot filling it with different colors that offers the palette of tones located in the lower part of the worksheet; I continued adding some ovals inside the ovals of the wings and also in the small wings, later I selected the different zones in which I applied filters that allow the design to have a better aspect to the sight and to obtain a real touch.
