This is my battle with the monster that Splinterlands proposes this week, the Cruel Sethropod, without a doubt it is a card that I use in low mana battles because as you can see in its stadistics it only costs 3 to play and it can work as a tank because of its shield and some life that is not so bad for the amount of mana it uses.
In my battle that I share with you I had little mana to use so it was perfect to use the Cruel Sethropod and accompany it with some magic monsters that were powered by my summoner Alric who is my favorite in the game.
Esta es mi batalla con el monstruo que nos propone Splinterlands esta semana el Cruel Sethropod sin duda es una carta que la uso en batallas de poco maná pues como puedes ver en sus stadisticas solo cuesta 3 el poderla jugar y puede funcionar como un tanque por su escudo y algo de vida que no es tan mala para la cantidad de maná que usa.
En mi batalla que les comparto me ha tocado poco maná para usar así que quedó perfecta para usar el Cruel Sethropod y acompañarlo de algunos monstruos de magia que estaban potenciados por mi summoner Alric que es mi preferido el juego.
As you can see in the following images my opponent has used a very similar strategy to the one I used, only that he bet on healing in his ranks, a big mistake because with tanks and allies with so little life you don't have enough time to heal the allies and that reduced his attack power.
I instead went full damage, I have always said that there is no better defense than attack and this time was no exception.
It was a relatively quick battle but it was demonstrated that the magic in the water monsters is very powerful, enhanced with the summoner Alric Stormbringer that gives an extra point of magic to the allies was undoubtedly a fundamental part of this victory.
The rival went for speed and healing and we went for damage, that was enough.
Como puedes ver en las siguientes imágenes mi rival ha usado una estrategia muy similar a la que yo usé, solo que el apostó por la curación en sus filas, grave error pues con tanques y aliados con tan poca vida no te alcanza el tiempo para poder curar a los aliados y eso le restó poder de ataque.
Yo en cambio me fui full daño, siempre he dicho que no hay mejor defensa que el ataque y esta vez no fue la excepción.
Fue una batalla relativamente rápida pero quedó demostrado que la magia en los monstruos de agua es muy poderosa potenciado con el summoner Alric Stormbringer que les da un punto mas de magia a los aliados sin duda fue parte fundamental de esta victoria.
El rival apostó por la velocidad y la curación y nosotros nos fuimos por el daño, eso fue suficiente.
