Little League

My favorite Battle Of The Day today was a match that used the Ruleset Little League. These matches are fun because you get to load up on a bunch of smaller monsters and let the two teams slug it out. It kind of reminds me of when my son was 5 years old and played on a soccer team. Lot's of action going on, but not a lot of soccer.

Since the other ruleset was Holy Protection, the first round mostly consisted of all the targeted monsters getting their Divine Shields knocked off. The only ones taking any actual damage were the two tanks.

Round 2 Started with several of my secondary monsters doing further damage to the opponent's Tortisan Fighter, which allowed my Cerberus to take him out. I have to admit, that little turtle withstood a lot of damage and I have a whole new respect for him and his abilities now. If he had been paired with a tank healer the match might have turned out a lot differently.

In Round 3, my Elven Cutthroat and Serpentine Spy combined to eliminate the opposing Centaur while the rest of my team concentrated their attacks on the Electric Eels and succeeded in killing them at the end of the round.

By the start of Round 4 the outcome of the match was becoming self evident as most of my attacks were directed at the enemies tank position and we first eliminated the enemy Coral Wraith and then did some big damage to the Mermaid Healer.

Round 5 was short lived as my quickest monsters eliminated the remaining enemy team.

Victory was mine!
