Once again, I finished the season in Diamond 2 league. I actually managed to claw my way to within 21 points of Diamond 1, but then I hit a big losing streak and never came close again. Either my ability to play has degraded significantly (a very strong possibility) or the new bots that everyone are using are much better than the human players they are replacing.

Other than not making it any higher than Diamond 2 this season, I'm not all that disappointed with my play. I had a 0.91 win rate and played 368 total matches in Wild format. I did much better in Modern format with a 23 match winning streak. But I was only playing in Silver and Gold leagues. If I had progressed much higher, I would have run into trouble since I only have a few Untamed cards of any significant level.

Tournament results were basically terrible. I didn't play very well and as a result I didn't place very well. On the bright side, I did pick up a few extra SPS for the effort. After subtracting the entry fees, I managed to bank 83 SPS profit.

Rewards this season were way below the last 2 seasons. Fewer chests, fewer rewards. That means fewer cards, fewer packs, fewer SPS, fewer everything. Except Alchemy potions. For some reason I scored 37 more Alchemy potions this season than last. Some day in the distant future, those potions will come in handy when I am opening a thousand packs!

Here's a bright spot in this season report, my rental income was way up this season. In fact, my net rental income was up over 51% over last season. I am very surprised by this because all I've been hearing on the Mav Channel is that rentals are really cheap right now. So, I expected to see a decrease in rental income.

My strategy to put a bunch of SPS into the Liquidity Pools is paying off nicely. My net SPS this season is up over 22% from last season. It does come at a cost. My voucher drops were down about 10% and my Hive income from curation is down a little also. But I'm willing to trade the loss of Hive and Vouchers for more SPS.
I'm going to look into renting a few key Untamed cards and see if they can help my performance. The trouble with this approach is taking the time to get used to using these new cards in battle. Unlike the bots, this is a slow process for us humans.

This is really nice and awesome. Keep up the good work moving.
Thank you, I will try.
good luck for the new season, wish you could climb up to champions :)
Thanks, so do I!
Yeah, rental cards income is quite up though its low rate, hope you may share your favourite battle strategy at diamond league if there is no secret or prevent for disclosure of battle strategy. Top battles are good but its set up with high level cards. Hope, you may share your few battles link to understand how you think about your game.
I think Grandmaster Rathe is probably one of my best Summoner in the higher levels. Pairing him with Silvershield Paladin and Prismatic Energy for the Magic Reflect ability works extremely well against Magic users.
Nice breakdown brotha. Seasons have definitely been a littoe tougher. I was close to diamond 3, but couldnt get there in time. Keep up the work, good luck to this season.

Glad to hear it's not just me having more difficulty this past season. The bots and cheap rentals are making it tougher to win. Good Luck with your season too.

💎💎💪😉😎🤙 Nice!
Hello.
Please find attached an updated Captured SPS Report, making your Report Card look that little bit extra nice 👌 (claiming rewards was offsetting the battle earned rewards balance)
Thanks for posting your SplinterStats Report Card 👍
I like the update! Thanks for all your efforts.
Congrats on hitting diamond II.
I played a little Splinterlands for the first time in weeks just yesterday.
Did you have to start back in Bronze?
Yes, I played a handful of games and am still in Bronze.
It's hard to climb out of the Bronze hole.
