SplinterLands:: CHAOS LEGION Packs Opening & My Strategy

Finally, the date has come where players who had bought CHAOS LEGION Packs - can open their packs now. I did buy close to 500 packs during the Pre-Sale event and also did post around it. SplinterLands:: Finally Got some CHAOS LEGION Packs

As part of the promotional offer; I got 11 Doctor Blight Neutral legendary cards. Currently, in the market it costs around $120+; so 11 of these sums to a total of $1200 - which is like getting back close to 30% of the investment back - if I sell Doctor Blight at current levels. But, I'm not gonna do so and have them stacked up for now.

Legendary & Gold Foil Cards Received::

So far, I have opened close to 20 packs, and here are the stats wrt. Legendary & Gold Foil Cards Received. I got One - CORPSE FIEND; which is LEGENDARY Death Monster & One - LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR; which is LEGENDARY Neutral Monster. Both legendary monsters cost around $30+ in the open market.

I was lucky to get 3 GOLD foil cards as well; which is not at all a bad deal - considering I have just opened 20 packs as of writing this article. I'm leveraging the Alchemy & Legendary potions as this increases your chances of getting legendary or a Gold foil card.

Total cards thus far are 161 inclusive of the promotional offer cards & the Gold foil cards that I got via opening the packs - All of them cost around $1.6K+. I'll be opening another 50 packs today and see how it goes; would be happy if I am able to get at least 1 Gold legendary card - not being that greedy. :-)

My Strategy...

It's gonna be straightforward.. I'll open packs randomly not all at once. Also will not rush in selling any card or even wouldn't be combing the cards. I want to focus on building my Untamed Packs building.

I got close to 23.7 Vouchers today & to be honest I sold all of them for HIVE.. currently, the plan is not to buy more packs, but rather is to buy SPs and stake more SPs tokens. Earlier, I had a Goal of reaching 50K+ SPs staked; which I achieved and now I'm targetting 100K+ SPs to be staked. Here is the current status of SPs staked::

Wow those are some nice cards. I didn't participate in the pre-sale and I won't participate in the 2nd sale. However I do think I will participate in the general sale.
