"Pssst. Have you heard?" Alice said. "They say the Tenyii Striker will be in the arena today."

"Oh really?" Bob replied. "Come one, let's go watch!"

They arrived at the arena and saw a huge sign over the entrance.

"OH. How sad. I was soooo looking forward to seeing some magic today" Bob said.

"And the summoners won't cast any spells either." Alice replied. "So there will most probably be no legendary summoner showing up."

They continued into the huge arena looking for their seats.
"On the plus side," Alice continued, "we will have plenty of fun watching Tenyii Striker slicing up the back row. Since there is no summoner and magic interfering with his talent, he will really shine today."

They found their seats.
"Oh, do we want to get something to eat?" Bob asked.

"No, I don't want to miss the team presentation." Alice said.

Bob took a flyer from the seat. "Oh look, " he said, "you can just read this here. I'll go get some snacks for us while you admire your hero."

Alice took the flyer from Bob and started reading.

On the summoner's podium: Tarsa

Even though she will not be able to cast her talents tonight, she is thrilled to lead today's team into battle.

With the arrival of the Chaos League she became the most favorite summoner of the fire splinter. You can watch her fight in any rule-set for a ticket price of only 4 mana in any arena in Praetoria hosting the fire splinter.

Tank position: The Forgotten One

This epic creature was especially chosen to lead of in today's rule-set. Immune to any dark spells that might be cast upon him, we have all the confidence in his retaliation ability to fight off those melee attacks while his armor protects him even from ranged attackers.

How many monsters will his foursome might crush today?

His submission was costly with 9 mana on your ticket. But let us not forget the value he brings to this team.

2nd position: Tenyii Striker

The star of tonight will appear in second position. And whoever dares to face tonight's team, their back row will learn to fear him sneaking up on them. His survival in tonight's rule-set is most probable, thanks to his famous dodging abilities.

For only 5 additional mana to your ticket, we got you this 6 health fighter that can strike from any position. Can you imagine any fire team without him?

3rd position: Uraeus

In a supporting role tonight, we present to you Uraeus. Who better to team up with Tenyii Striker than this rare creature? To either finish what the Striker started or support him with an initial attack the round before, Uraeus is the companion for the saber warrior.

Protected with armor he is most likely to survive at least one hit while able to deal 2 damage himself. And all this for only 3 mana to your ticket.

4th position: Scorch Fiend

And free of charge we managed to add the legendary Scorch Fiend to the team. Giving extra protection to the back row he is not shy to take first position in an emergency. And maybe, just maybe, he will deliver the final blow in an exciting showdown?

Not only does he provide one extra sneak protection, he volunteered to be the distraction for any opportunist in the opposing team tonight.

Bob came back with the snacks. "And, is tonight's team any good?" he asked.

"Oh, this looks promising." Alice replied. "I'm so excited to see them fight. Oh look, it's starting."

Watch The Battle

The entrance of the teams was met with cheers from the audience. The arena was filled up to the last seat. After the ceremonial greeting, during which one could feel the disgust those two fire teams had for each other, the battle began.

Round 1

Lava spider begins. It aims, throws and... HIT. It is able to hit the Forgotten to start a crack in its armor.

But behold, Tenyii is up now and he strikes. HIT. Yes, The spider will not survive such an attack again.

Up next is the Serpentine Spine and with no surprise he takes out the Scorch Fiend. Let's all give a cheer for this sacrifice, it fulfilled its purpose.

BAM! The forgotten one struck and the Living Lava lost all its armor.

And there goes Uraeus, sneaking up on the Lava Spider. What a blow. Yes, the spider is gone.

The opposing Uraeus wants to return the favor. Oh, the armor fulfills its purpose. No more casualties for the home team this round.

Finally the Living Lava has its turn and reduces the Forgotten's armor to 1. Ah, yes! It retaliates and another hit on the Living Lava, down to 4 health now.

Round 2

With the Lava Spider gone, Tenyii Striker is up first. What a devastating blow to the Serpentine Spy. Taken out before it can hit, the Spy is off the battle field.

The Forgotten One strikes next and brings the Living Lava down to two.

Followed by Uraeus, who sadly is repelled by the opposing armor.

The other Uraeus seizes the chance and takes out the home team Uraeus with a well aimed hit.

In an desperate attempt to make a difference the Living Lava hits The Forgotten One. Even though it's down to 1, its armor protects the health but is gone now. Sadly, no retaliation hit this time.

Round 3

Tenyii Striker to be first again. In his trademark sneak attack he manages to take out the other Uraeus. What a takedown, no more damage from that creature.

The Forgotten One has easy play now, it lunges at the Living Lava and HIT. Living Lava goes down!

Well, only the Radiated Scorcher left now, what will he do?
He tickles the Forgotten One for one health. Will it retaliate? Does not look that way.

Round 4

Only 3 Creatures left over all. With Tenyii Striker to go first and the opposing team diminished to one creature with only two health this will go fast.

Striker sneaks up from back row and HIT!

Radiated Scorcher goes down and with it the other team completely.

Victory for the home team!

The audience cheered for them with standing ovations.

"That was a good one." said Alice. "They really work well together."

"Yes, totally worth the ticket prices." said Bob. "And did you notice how well Tenyii and Uraeus worked together? They should team up more often."

"Yes, those two make a great team, especially with Scorch Fiend having their back."
