A Leader for Others

In a society filled with problems, suffering, and deceit, we sometimes feel defeated and hopeless.

We feel a sense of cynicism to the point that we tend to give up on others.

However, there are a select few that tend to rise up to the challenge. A select few that dare to defy the odds. A select few who are willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of others. A select few willing to give themselves to serve others.

One of those select few is one named Hernan Perez. I dare to defy those odds.

I come from the Philippines and here we see the harsh realities of life. Many people live off of less than 10 dollars a day to feed a family of four or even more. Here, we see that truly there is a huge gap between the privileged and the poor.

I started to discover cryptocurrency just a few months back. It was only two months ago that I discovered Splinterlands and it was only until recently that I discovered other Hive-based NFT games.

Hive is one of the projects that I see give hope to many people especially coming from the Philippines. I see how stable it is and how it gives access even to those who do not have much. Truly, this is what I believe makes HIVE different.

As I write this, I seek to share my advocacy in helping others who are less privileged. I will be writing about the games I am familiar with, but mostly I will be writing about an initiative, a society that we created (with a team) in order to help others grow.

I truly feel blessed to be part of a movement and I will do my best in creating an impact, no matter how small, as long as it may help others.
