Cruel Sethropod: It Is Good To Use I Lower Mana Battles

Hello splinterlandies and splinterlords around the world, how are you doing in your respective endeavors?
What a wonderful day here, just sitting in my office without stress like yesterday. I couldn’t do anything yesterday because of the strenuous work I underwent yesterday. When I went back to my apartment, I could not do anything but slept off. I woke up in the middle of the night and ate cornflakes.

These days the battle challenge is full of chao legion cards, though i love it. They also give us the opportunity to use any other monster.
Cruel Sethropod is one of the water monsters I have never used except today. What made me use Cruel Sethropod today was this weekly challenge I saw in @splinterlands.
I don’t even like this monster in any way because for me, it has no ability which would trigger me to use it.

Though, there are battles that Cruel Sethropod is good to battle. I am not sure about that. But the lack of any ability discouraged me to use this monster. It was just fortunate for me in this battle that I made use of it and won the battle.

Hardy Stonefish: if you look at all my monsters i selected in this battle; the monster with highest mana is Cruel Sethropod.
The reason was that the mana was very small. I was given the lowest mana in splinterlands to battle.
Choosing one monster in this battle would not be good for me. The moment I saw the mana, I was eager to use sea monsters but lower mana monsters were given to battle.
Then I realized that it was a great opportunity for me to use Cruel Sethropod.
I knew that the battle would be so intense in the front, that was the reason I used monsters with little attack in the front to remove the shield ability from the opponent monsters.
This one mana monster would be able to delay the battle from the front.

Furious Chicken: it was an added advantage for me in this battle because it doesn't affect my mana.
Furious chicken to be in the second was a good choice: I was aware Hardy Stonefish would not last in that position since it only has 2 health. Hence, the best thing was to support it with furious chicken so that the delay can continue.

Cruel Sethropod: this was the monster in the third position. After the elimination of Hardy Stonefish and furious chicken; Cruel Sethropod led the battle to victory.
In round 3, Cruel Sethropod led the battle, and queen mycella led my opponent. I was contemplating that i might lose the battle because mycella have two magic attack. What a good attack by Cruel Sethropod as it attacked myrcella and removed the shield ability from the monster. This was what made my ice pixie attack and damaged 2 health from mycella.
Cruel Sethropod could not be destroyed from the battle. The moment Queen mycella was eliminated, I knew that I had won the battle already.
It was a Cruel Sethropod that attacked uranus and removed the divine shield ability from it, that was the reason it was very easy to destroy by ice pixie.

Ice Pixie: I never underestimate ice pixies, I knew that if I really needed to win in this battle, I needed a magic monster. That was the reason I placed the ice pixie in the fourth position so that it wouldn't lose the monster in the short time. I needed this monster to stay long in this battle and the best way is to place it in the fourth position.
I was aware that my opponent might use a sneak monster and that was the reason I did not place it as the last monster.

Crustacean King: i selected this monster to keep increasing the health of Cruel Sethropod, but uraeus cut its life short.
I also thought that my opponent would bring in a sneak monster and it is going to take any melee sneaky monster three times to eliminate crustacean king; except the sneaky such a sneak monster is a magic attack monster.
I knew that that sneaky monster with magic attack was not available in the battle selection, hence my crustacean king was a little safe because the magic monster would destroy it in two attacks.
It took uraeus' third round to eliminate the crustacean king. By the time Uraeus eliminated the crustacean king, I had already achieved my aim in the battle.

In conclusion, Cruel Sethropod is good in the battles with lower mana just like this one i share, and the armor is very helpful in some battles.
