What a wonderful moment: I was playing splinterlands at midnight⚫ when I saw discord messages about pumping of hive. After I played splinterlands for hours, I was about to sleep and I saw discord messages about hive in @neoxiancity discord server. I was captivated by the messages, which made the sleep wipe off my face😳😳.

I have won HBD, HIVE, DEC (Dark Crystal Energy,) Neoxag, SPS (splinterlands Governance token) and splinterlands monsters from various people. The last giveaway I won was initiated by @kuduus1.
I was about to sleep😴😴 after I was done playing splinterlands around 1:00am; since I was not chatting on the discord channel due to the game I was playing, I decided to check what was going on in the city. I saw many more than 100 messages talking about hive which appreciated to $5.5💵.
That was when I quickly⚡⚡ went to my Binance app to check what was going on, and I saw hive pumped to $0.55; I checked the BTC to see maybe BTC was the course of it; this is because when BTC rises, some coins also rise. When I checked BTC, the price was still below $24k💵. I went back to my hive account, sold the hive I had and withdrawn my profit.

Well! For a year now, I have not taken my profit from hive, because I believe the long-term profit is better than short time profit; but I took the profit of the recent pumping of the hive because I really need money to settle my bills.
The last time I took money out of my hive was February 2022.

When the Bitcoin rose in January from $16k-24k, many hivers were waiting for hive to rise since many altcoins rose with Bitcoin; hive was very slow to rise with other altcoins. I knew many hivers took the opportunity of early rising of hive from $0.35- $3.9; A friend of mine was saying that “I sold my hive at $0.39”.
When we were jubilating🤣🤣 about the pumping of hive; many of my friends sold their hive, bought chaos legion packs and splinterlands cards; while some of my friends sold it and ate the money.
Therefore, many hivers without liquid hive were praying for hive to come down so that they could buy more from market.
And others believed in the long-term goal, and they did not sell their liquid hive.

Right now, I don’t have liquid hive: any moment from now, the price of hive can rise to $1. Many experts predicted that the price of hive may touch $2 this year; I believed in what they said, anything can positively affect the price of hive. Just like a few days ago that hive experienced a sporadic increase in price.
Hmmm❗❗ I read so many news that ‘hive may experience surge increase’ and I am figuring out how I can get more hive before it surges again.


SPLINTERLANDS UNDERESTMATED MONSTERS

There are monsters which players are underestimated because they are not frequently used in battles. I do underestimate some cards because I used them once in a blue moon. There are monsters👾 I can’t do without using while playing splinterlands, and there are cards I don’t just use because they are not effective in battles.

The main reason I want to talk about them is that anyone that reads this post should tell me his/her opinions- the best rules to use them, how to use them and the best position to maximize their abilities.
The Monsters are:

CARRION SHADE: Carrion Shade is a common death monster with 2 health in the level 1 and 3 health in the max level. It is a melee attack monster; the flying ability is activated in level 3🎚️🎚️ which makes Carrion shade useful in some battles.
The last time I used this monster in a battle was when it was used as theme of the week; the splinterlands team picked the monster for weekly battle challenge; that was the last time I used the monster and the last time I saw the monster in battles.
Players used different monsters in battles of which I know most of these monsters even though I did not know their names; I hardly come across Carrion Shade.

WHAT IS THE SUITABLE BATTLE RULE FOR THIS CARRION SHADE?
Well! The only thing I used this monster for is to delay. It cannot lead the battle due to its health; the highest health of Carrion Shade is 3 which can be destroyed in one attack.
The only battle I feel like it is suitable for this monster is when little league and all melee monster can attack in any position; that is when Carrion Shade can attack in any position but the melee of this monster is not good enough to use in this battle.
I have many monsters with lower mana and higher melee and health; therefore, I would prefer to use those monsters than to use Carrion Shade.
Tell me the best rule to use Carrion Shade and if possible, you can share a battle using ***carrion shade ***in the comment section.

HARVESTER

Harvester is a common Earth monster with oppress ability in level 4. Harvester is very good to use when small mana is given, especially when super sneak or melee monsters can attack in any position. I Used this monster but not frequently because there are other monsters that I preferred to use when such rules are given.
I preferred to use Stone Golem due to its shield ability since both monsters have the same mana cost or I prefer Flesh golem because of its healing ability.

The reason I don’t use Harvester is because I have many monsters that can battle more than harvester. Unless those monsters are not among battle collection; that is when I can think of using harvester in battle.
Imagine using harvester as the first monster in the battle when there is Flesh Golem that can continue to increase it health or unicorn mustang that have void ability to reduce the damage done by magic monsters.
These are my reasons for not using harvester in battles.

🃏🃏BRAWL CARDS AND ITS USEFULNESS IN RANKED BATTLES🃏🃏
The first time when brawl started, my thought was that the brawls' monsters would be useful in rank battles. I was very sure about that.
But my Splinterlands account was too small to join my preferred guild. I knew I couldn't join them because most of the accounts in that guild were in the champion league; even one of my friends whose account was in a diamond league could not enter the guild.
🧟I was not allowed to join the guild because my account couldn't. I kept on searching for opportunities to join any guild.
🗝️🗝️Opportunity came from desperation: a friend of mine in the neoxian discord channel, sent me an invite to join their guild; without wasting time, I joined the guild called 'buildteam'. 1️⃣My first brawl battle was very tough because I never understood how to select a fray. I entered any available fray without checking whether my cards were compatible. 💎💎I was entering the gold fray many times unknowingly to me, and I was losing battles because I had few gold cards.
👮‍♂️👮‍♂️Until the officer told me to select 'all cards playable' since I have plenty of Splinterlands cards from different packs. That was when I started winning battles, and won more than 5 battles out of 6 or seven.
I have never accumulated my merits for any purpose; the moment my merits were above 2000, I went to the guild store, bought a gladiator pack🎁 and opened it. That was how I kept on accumulating Brawl cards until a few days ago when 📖 I read from Splinterlands blog that 'a brawl card will be allowed to be used in rank battles; I felt like it was a dream.
Few days ago, I got Helios Matriarch level 4⭐⭐⭐⭐; a powerful dragon summoner🐉🐉 that allows only one brawl card in rank battles and an additional of +1 speed to all friendly monsters. Helios Matriarch has been impeccable since I got it.
I will share one of the battles I used Helios Matriarch.

RULESET

Briar Patch: All monsters have the thorns’ ability.

Equalizer: The initial health of all monsters is equal to that of the monster on either team with the highest base health.

Reverse Speed: Monsters with the lowest speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading the melee attack.

SUMMONER

Helios Matriarch: I just got this monster to level 4⭐⭐⭐⭐ few days ago, the summoner is very powerful; it is a dragon summoner; therefore, it can be used with any other summoner in splinterlands. It gives Helios Matriarch: I just got this monster to level 4⭐⭐⭐⭐ few days ago, the summoner is very powerful; it is a dragon summoner; therefore, it can be used with any other summoner in splinterlands. It givesone additional speed and allows the use of a gladiator card in battles. The use of one gladiator card is my joy because I like the bloodlust ability of gladiator cards.

MONSTERS ARRANGEMENT

💠Uriel The Purifier🔶: This monster is the best to lead my battle because of its 🔶healing and recharging abilities.
The moment I saw two monsters with resurrected ability in my opponent lineup; I knew it would be 50/50 win.
Uriel the purifier would have been eliminated in the beginning of second round if there was no healing ability✔️; the healing ability made the monster endured to round three before it was eliminated.


💠Djinn Renova: since the rule gave all monsters thorns ability; melee monster was not an option in this kind of battle because the thorns ability would damage the health and armor of melee monsters.
This rule was the reason I did not use melee monsters except Uriel the purifier. This was what gave me the opportunity to use djinn Renova.
Djinn Renova presence strengthened all the friendly monster: that it. It gave all friendly monsters additional health and the three magic attacks were impressive.


💠Captain Katie: This is Brawl card in the ranked battle which was not possible before, but the previous update gave opportunity to use a Brawl card in ranked battles. Most of the brawl monsters are very impressive.
In round 5 when Captain Katie killed opponent’s Adelade brightwing; all her stats increased by one. This bloodlust ability was the reason I used the summoner in this battle.
I won 85% of my battles with this summoner.

💠Adelaide Brightwing: The magic and armor of this Adelade brightwing was key to my victory, adelaide Brightwing was repairing the armor of all monsters that led this battle. I knew that my opponent I was paired with in this battle would use range monsters, I used Adelaide Brightwing to keep on repairing the armor of all monsters that led this battle.
That was the reason most of the monsters that led this battle were difficult to eliminate in this battle.

💠Venari Crytalsmith🔶: tank healing was very important to increase the health of the monster in the first position; this is because I knew that my opponent would use magic monsters since thorns ability was among the ruleset.
Venari Crystalsmith🔶 increased the health of monsters that led the battle from the beginning to the end.


💠Doctor Blight: Well❗❗ I needed Doctor Blight to poison opponent monsters; I specially used to poison and afflict monsters in this battle. I planned to afflict any healing monster in case it is used in this battle, so that such a monster can stop healing.
