My Splinterlands Summary First Quarter Of The Year 2022: My Goals For The Second Quarter Of The Year

Hello friend, how are you feeling today? What a wonderful first quarter of the year for me. This is the reason we need to set goals for whatever we want to achieve in life: either long goals or short goals. One thing I know is that your goals always put you on track, remind you that there is something you set for yourself.
The following are the reasons you need to set goals for yourself:

• It makes you committed: hmm! I remember years ago when I had no vision for a certain year, it made me an unserious person and not committed. Whatever i don’t set a goal for particular things, i don’t commit myself to it.
  In difficult times or the moment when things are going in a direction we don’t want or when we are discouraged, setting goals motivates, inspires and makes us to be more focused. A person without goals cannot have direction.

• Determination: it is one thing to have a goal, it is another thing to be determined. A goal without determination to fulfill it may not be achieved. One thing that prevents people from achieving their set goals is determination.
  Without determination of accomplishment, a goal may not be fulfilled: this is where your zeal comes in, the passion to achieve your set goals must always come to your mind. You must be driving yourself to achieve your set goals.
  In this splinterlands game, what makes me keep investing more is that I always want my collection power to be higher; i love to confront big players and win them. I understand that the higher your account, the higher profit you get and the more you enjoy the game. Having necessary monsters and summoners makes one compete with other players in the leaderboard.
  I have the determination to reach more than 200,00 CP so that I can start competing in the leaderboard. I always see the reward of the players on the leaderboard and I always have determination to be among the players.
  This goal is only possible for me if i break it down such as to reach 100,000 cp, then 150,000, 200,000 and so on.
  Therefore, setting goals helps me to determine what I want to achieve before the year comes to an end.

• It measures your progress: it helps you to know where you are and where you are going. For instance, I set a goal to reach 100,000 CP and get more cards before March, 2022. I bought pre-sale packs and I kept on buying them even though I didn't have enough money. I kept on pursuing this goal until I made it to 100,000 CP and above.
  This was a goal I set for myself for the first quarter of the year.
  I was measuring my progress: when I reached 90,000 power collections, I kept on saying ‘it remains 10,000 for my benchmark’. Immediately when i reached 100,000 power collection, i said to myself ‘it is done.

• Setting goals gives me a sense of responsibility: it makes me responsible for what to do at any time. Whenever I have a little money in my hand, I remember that I need to buy some packs with little i have to achieve my goals.

• It helps me to manage everything: it helps me to manage my resources, time and spend wisely. There was a day I wanted to buy clothes for myself, but when I remembered that my goal must be achievable, I did not buy the clothes again. I invested the money.
  I always play my daily quest because I have won important cards from it. I always create time to play daily challenge, with just a few loot chest I open each time I completed my daily quest, it increases my power collection,

I have a timetable for almost everything I do every day; I don't like to waste my time on unnecessary things.
I have leisure time, and working time. Whenever it is time to work, you cannot confuse me to leave what I am doing.
Last week, a friend of mine invited me to a club. He said “let’s go and spend an hour in the club” but i told him, i have not completed my set goal for the day.

• Confident Is Important in Achieving Goals: always be confident and positive about your goals. No matter how big my goal is, I believe that I can achieve it.
  I am always confident about my ability to achieve it. I believe nothing is impossible for me. These are strategies I imbibed to achieve my set goals

MY GOALS FOR THE SECOND QUARTER
My goal for this second quarter is to reach 150,000 power collections and increase my gold collection, either by buying it directly from the market or through the opening of packs.

THE UNIQUE THING ABOUT TENYII STRIKER

Choosing any other monster except tenyii striker would have led me to defeat. Since I knew that monsters do not get any armor, using a halfling alchemist here would be a waste of time. Halfling alchemist would be first eliminated by my opponent serpentine spy.
This is the reason I used tenyii striker because it would not be easy for any monster to eliminate it in a single attack except sandworm. And i also knew that my opponent would not risk putting sandworm because of the mana given.

The last position was the best position for a tenyii striker. If I mistakenly placed the kobold miner in the last position, it wouldn’t have gotten an opportunity to attack before it was eliminated.

Living lava I was my only hope to lead the battle because of the shield ability. The shield ability made it difficult for my opponent monsters to eliminate it in the first round.
It was later eliminated by fineas rage in a second round of the battle.

WHY DO I CHOOSE TENYII STRIKER AS THE LAST MONSTER?
The only thing that made me choose tenyii striker was health. The 6 health was able to delay the kobold miner of my opponent monster from attacking my kobold miner.
