TOUGH AND TOUGH BATTLES: RECHARGE ABILITY IS OF VITAL NECESSITY TO WIN BATTLES

Hello splinterlands lover around the world, how are you today? Hmmm! We are in the winter season, hence the weather here is very cold, and everything seems cold here. The rain today made the cold worse. Well! I love the rainy season more than summer because I do not like heat.
Just read the post in @splinterlands blog, i believe that whatever is happening is for the good for both the investors, players and the splinterlands company as large. The upcoming change will have little effect on the daily focus but will not affect seasonal rewards.
When the changes come to effect, players can only earn focus chest based on the league they play. For instance, I am in the gold league, it will not be possible for me to earn diamond focus chest, i can only earn focus chest based on my league.
I am eagerly waiting for the changes; I believe the changes will be of help to some of us. We can earn rewards at the beginning of the season. It is hard for me to earn what I earned before to earn it in this season. I earned 6 for gold league whatever i completed my daily quest; in the recent development, it is very difficult for me to win 6 most times.
I was able to claim 3 focus chests today but in the previous setting, the moment I complete my daily quest, I would be able to claim my six loot chests.

In this post, i will be talking about one of the monsters in the dragon world, the name of the monster is ZYVAX VUUL. what a monster with a strange name, i didn't even know that zyvax vuul was its name until i wanted to share the battle. That was when I checked the name and I saw ‘zyvax vuul’. This name is very strange to me, maybe because today was my first time hearing such a name.
I can’t even fathom where the name was coined out. It looks like an old-world name.

I have been making every effort to use this monster since yesterday I saw this battle challenge. This is one of the monsters I have never shared in the battle challenge and I don't like sharing the same monsters all the time.
This legendary dragon has range attack, 3 speed, and 8 health in level one, which is incredible for this monster.
Zyvax Vuul has close range ability in level 2 which allows the monster to perform an attack in the first position.

RULESET

For of War: Monsters lose the sneak and sniping abilities.
Fog of war simply means that snipe monsters may not be available to chose in the battle. When I looked at the monsters available for me to battle, I did not get snipe monsters to use in this battle. I realized that snipe monsters would not be used in this battle.
There are sneak monsters in my battle collections such as sandworms and others. I knew if I used sneak monsters in this battle, it wouldn’t attack, it would be dormant. The rule would not allow snake monsters to attack unless such monster is in the first position of the battle.

Holy Protection: all monsters have the divine shield ability.

When I saw llama mage and Kron undying in the lineup of my opponent, I thought I had lost the battle. I knew the battle would be very tough the moment I saw llama mage and kron the undying. This is the reason recharge ability is very important in some battles. You could see how Zyvax Vuul damaged 6 health from opponent monsters.

MONSTERS ARRANGEMENT
DELWYN DRAGONSCALE: The best way to use dragon monsters is to use a dragon summoner. Delwyn dragonscale is one of the dragon summoners i have, it delivers very well and is the dragon summoner with highest level in my collections.

THE KRAKEN: This monster's health and taunt ability is a major factor here; I knew that if the kraken would be destroyed in this battle, it would take more than one round. My plan was that my opponent would have opportunity monsters in this battle as we all know that opportunity monsters can be used. To avoid monsters with lowest health being eliminated such as dragon jumper’s; that was the reason I used the kraken. This would make opponent monsters to attack the kraken until it is destroyed before the monster can start attacking other monsters.
Unfortunately, my opponent did not use opportunity monsters, all his/her monsters attacked my monster in the first position.
The mana given in this battle gave room for big monsters to be used, that was another reason I used the kraken. If 56 mana was not given, I may not use the Kraken.

DJINN OSHANNUS: The speed of this monster is good, that was the reason Djinn oshannus was the first monster to attack in this battle.
It attacked the unicorn mustang and removed the divine shield ability away.
Djinn oshannus led the battle to victory. My thought was that when kron undying was left alone in my opponent's lineup, it would destroy all my monsters.

NERISSA TRIDAWN: one of my favorite monsters, tridawn magic attack was the major factor. Even though my opponent used a silence ability monster to reduce the magic attack of my monsters, tridawn magic attack was still three.
That is how powerful the nerissa tridawn magic attack is; that is the reason I love to use tridawn when there is availability to use it.

Dragon jumper: there was a need to bring on dragon jumper incase of a powerful monster with lower health, one of them was Goblin psychic. If the dragon jumper was not in the lineup Goblin psychic Would have kept on increasing the health of the monsters which would have been difficult for me to pull the monsters off in this battle.
The moment the dragon jumper eliminated Goblin psychic; it was very easy for me to destroy other monsters in this battle.

ZYVAX VUUL: the recharge ability was very necessary in this battle, just an attack destroyed unicorn mustang.
It takes the first round to recharge and the second round to attack; That was the reason I placed the zyvax vull as the second to the last monster so that it would attack. Since the monster is a ranged monster, there was no need to place it in second or third position in the battle. The safest position was last monster and second to the last monsters; even though the first, second, third and fourth were destroyed, zyvax vull would still have an opportunity to attack.

VOID DRAGON: this dragon was my last monster in the battle. I picked void dragon based on the things; (1) the flying ability can help to evade melee and ranged attack in this battle, (2) the speed of this monster was very important to me.
At the beginning, void dragon had no effect on the unicorn mustang because of its void ability, and mushroom seer which reduces all magic attacks -1.
Until mustang and mushroom seer was terminated, that was when dragon void was able to have effect on opponent monsters.

In conclusion, if i have the opportunity to use zyvax vull i will continue using it. It is a good monster. I also love to use it when earthquake rules are given to me because earthquake rules cannot affect it.
