Incoming Random Attack! The Portal Spinners Emerges!

I'm here posting again for another Share your Battle Weekly Challenge featuring the Splinterlands Portal casters which is from the life element, the Portal Spinners.
Have you ever wonder how these Portal Spinners attacks? By reading the lore, these Portal Spinners attack by casting a portal through object and casting another portal to the enemies. This is the same power that Doctor Strange from the Marvel could do.
Portals Spinners are members of the Cult of the Rift, a faction within the Chaos Legion that harnesses rift magic to cast deadly spells.
Portal Spinners siphon life magic from their surroundings to open mini-rifts in the fabric of reality. Some thought to use these portals to travel between realms. However, after attempting to do so, many a Portal Spinner was consumed by whatever foul beasts dwelled on the other side of the portal. Others emerged... rearranged... and either dead or wishing they were dead.
Now, Portal Spinners simply use their portals to launch chaotic and random attacks against their enemies. They might open one portal beneath a fallen sword, boulder, or other weapon of convenience and a second portal above their enemies, sending the weapon through the rift and crashing down on its unsuspecting victim.
If facing enemies capable of flight, Portal Spinners have been known to use their portals to drop nets upon their foes, grounding them.
🌀 The Stats
Portal Spinner is a rare monster card from the Life Element which specialized in range damage to a random target.
Starting at the base level, this card do have a balance stat but the most important is that the scattershot is available in the base level. The scattershot ability plays an important role as this randomly attacks a target. It can bypass the taunt ability and do have a chance to target weak enemies hiding in the taunt. At ★5 which is available starting in Gold league, the snare is available where in the Portal Spinner cast a portal above the flying enemies to drop nets.
Overall this monster is a great support especially that the Life Element do have General Sloan.
Combo Cards
In terms of Summoners, General Sloan is the best summoner that is compatible with Portal Spinner to boost the attack damage.

General Sloan provides a boost on the range damage which is beneficial to Portal Spinner. Portal Spinner with the boost of Sloan can have a 3 range damage in Bronze League and a 4 range damage in Silver League and Gold League. |
The monsters below are those monsters that are usable in the Modern format which can be use as a tank to protect Portal Spinner.

Shieldbearer is the most compatible with Portal Spinner because of the taunt ability. It can absorb snipe attacks in order for the Portal Spinner to focus on attacking. If the opponent's is using a monster with Scattershot ability, this is the only possible attack that can bypass Shieldbearer taunt. |
 | For Keep Your Distance ruleset, Warrior of Peace is a good frontal defense due to it's high speed and high health. Incoming range attack have a chance to miss because of it's speed which could make the Portal Spinner survive longer. This can be use as well in fog of war ruleset as an alternative. Chaos Knight is also an alternative if melee is allowed and if the Shieldbearer will cost too much mana. |
 | Pelacor Conjurer is a low mana cost that could be another option for tank because of the magic reflect which can be use also in the Keep Your Distance ruleset. Because of the flying ability, incoming range attack have a chance to miss.If a melee is allowed, the Blinding Reflector is an option against magic attack. |
Favorable Ruleset
Favorable ruleset to pair with this Portal Spinner:
 Explosive Weaponry | The Scattershot ability of Portal Spinner together with the blast could deal a pretty good damage in the backline. In response to the Reflection Shield ability which nullify blast damage, the usual line-up is a taunt beside a reflection shield monster. The Portal Spinner could bypass this defense because of the scattershot and the blast ability is still utilized. |
 Fog of War | With the Fog of War ruleset, Portal Spinner could still attack the backline because of the scattershot which could weaken the opponent's lineup. |
 Unprotected | The best thing that a range attack can do is the high damage however an armored monster may not be able feel the big impact until the armor is destroyed. In the unprotected ruleset, Portal Spinner could land it's massive range attack directly to the health of the enemies. |

Line Up

| Front Row |  Warrior of Peace | 7 | Warrior of Peace is a great tank especially in low league because of it's high speed and health. Physical attack often missed and the high health could survive magic attack. In addition, the demoralize ability decreases melee attack. |
| Back Row 1 |  Gargoya Scrapper | 1 | Gargoya Scrapper is the second tank in-line and a cannon fodder. If an enemy do have 1 magic damage, the Gargoya Scrapper can nullify this damage. |
| Back Row 2 |  Portal Spinner | 5 | Portal Spinner will go in wild and randomly attack the enemies for a massive 3 range damage. One good thing is that it can avoid Chaos Knight shield ability which can decrease the attack damage. |
| Back Row 3 |  Pelacor Arbalest | 6 | Pelacor Arbalest with the double attack could land a massive of 6 damage in total. Though with it's low speed, there might be a chance to miss the target. |
| Back Row 4 |  Venari Crystalsmith | 3 | Venari Crystalsmith acts as a support which heals Warrior of Peace to further survive the battle. In addition, it will attack the enemies frontline for a 2 range damage. |
Round 1
This is all white battle between two General Sloan.
General Sloan in both side will boost the damage of range damage. Opponent's side Venary Crystalsmith and Pelacor Arbalest will receive the boost while the other side Portal Spinner is added.
Moreover the opponent's line-up consist of a tank the Chaos Knight, an armor protector the Truthspeaker and an opportunistic Celestial Harpy.
Warrior of Peace demoralize only affect Chaos Knight attack. The battle is in favor of Warrior of Peace as most enemies speed is low. The Warrior of Peace have a higher chance to avoid the incoming attack.
Naruto24 team is preparing to attack. Pelacor Arbalest and Venari Crystalsmith target is Chaos Knight. Portal Spinner will randomly attack a target.
On the other hand, Dokien124 Venari Crystalsmith, Pelacor Arbalest and Chaos Knight target is Warrior of Peace. Celestial Harpy will pick the Gargoya Scrapper.
Round 2
At the start of Round 2, Warrior of Peace is heavily wounded but Venari Crystalsmith will heal some of it's wound. Chaos Knight's armor were destroyed. All monsters will continue to attack based on their target in the 1st round except for the Portal Spinner which always attacks a random target.
Round 3
During round 2, the Pelacor Arbalest defeated Chaos Knight and Celestial Harpy defeated Gargoya Scrapper. The missed attack from Pelacor Arbalest and Venari Crystalsmith towards Warrior of Peace is a great impact in the battle. The combined attack should be able to defeat the tank.
In this round, Celestial Harpy's target is now Pelacor Arbalest while the next target for Pelacor Arbalest and Venari Crystalsmith is Pelacor Conjurer. The opponent's Arbalest and Crystalsmith still locked on Warrior of Peace.
Round 4
A quick attack from Venari Crystalsmith and Pelacor Arbalest defeated Pelacor Conjurer resulting to Celestial Harpy to take the frontline.
Another missed attack from Arbalest and Harpy.
In this round, Venari Crystalsmith and Pelacor Arbalest is determine to defeat the Celestial Harpy. Portal Spinner can be able to defeat either Pelacor Arbalest or Truthspeaker depending on which it will randomly attack.
Round 5
In the previous round, Celestial Harpy and Truhspeaker were defeated.
The combined attack of Crystalsmith, Arbalest and Portal Spinner will surely defeat the remaining foes.

🌀 Final Thoughts
Portal Spinner is a great monster to breakthrough the taunt ability by hitting a random monster. The random attack could be a good attack that can easily eliminate a low health monster which can provide a great support in the battle. Eliminating this monster using the scattershot can change the outcome of the battle.
One thing that a scattershot cannot attack is the camouflage monster (please correct me if I am wrong). This could be one of Portal Spinner weakness but overall the attack of Portal Spinner is truly a devastating attack as this monster benefit the bonus from General Sloan ability.
