Gelatinous Cube Lore:

One night when the moons were full, the renegades of the Lunta Kalna performed a secret and powerful ritual. Their ceremony called forth forces of wind, rain, and hail; for the first time ever in recorded history, there was a hailstorm in Draykh-Nahka. Except it wasn’t only hail that fell from the sky that night. There were also a small number of strange Cubes that seemed to be alive. They have the look of ice, but upon contact with most objects, the surface of the Cube turns to jelly and absorbs the object, rather noisily. It is assumed that this is how the Cubes eat. When attacked, Gelatinous Cubes can make their outer shell as hard as solid ice for a short time. They can also alter their size to some degree, swelling up and increasing their power, depending on how much they have absorbed that day.

Gelatinous Cube comes under Neutral monsters that have no attack ability but quite useful in various rules. Its Scavenger ability has the ability to surpass you sometimes. I am going to share my usage of this Cube in the later post.

⚔️ MY ENTRY ⚔️

I was about to lose this challenge week and I forgot to use Cube in battle while the season has been ended already and someone reminds me to do this challenge then I tried to make it possible as soon as possible. I used this Cube as a tank and won the battle so sharing with all of you. I'm using my alt account ikrah-ag to do this challenge.

Why I Choose this Lineup?

I used LVL 5 Contessa an untamed summoner to play with Cube while I could use any of the summoners. It is able to reduce -1 ranged attack of all the enemy monsters if they used ranged attack monsters. I like this cutie this is why I leveled up in my alt account to summon my death team.

Gelatinous Cube LVL 6 comes handy in almost every type of rules though I used in Even Mana ruleset where I could easily use as a Tank while I didn't get any other option to use as a tank so I prefer to use it as a tank which can heal and Scavenger as well. Both abilities make it stay last like a tank which is a positive point. It stays last in this battle.

This Furious Chicken is a life savior monster for me which I use in almost every battle but a preferable position to place this chicken is the second monster in any battle. So it can take an attack is my opponent use a blast ability monster. I had enough empty slots so I put it randomly in the second position which stays last with the cube till the end of the battle.

Undead Archer, is a very nice monster with low mana and affliction ability at LVL 1. It is a super good monster when you are going to play low mana games though I used here to stop healing my opponent monster if m Undead archer hits the opponents' tank. It gives 2 damage which is nice. But my opponent hadn't used any healing monster.

Twisted Jester is a very strong card for the death splinter and I have only LVL 3 that isn't leveled up according to my summoner but still, it goes well whenever I use it. In this battle, it also performed goodby giving damage to monsters. It is a snippy monster so it hits the back position monsters.

Octopider is a reward card with 4 ranged attacks which makes this monster amazing and valuable for the death splinter so I used to give many attacks to the single monster in every attack. It also has to Demoralize the ability to reduce the melee attacks. I used it to give huge damage in one shot to the monsters to make the battle quick.

Did this Strategy Work Out?

Yes! 😂 It worked out very well. Sometimes, the cube doesn't perform well if it gets attack one by one from the opponents' side but this time it performs very well. Its because my opponent was somewhat weak. :P

Do I love using Gelatinous Cube?

Gelatinous Cube is amazing at LVL 6 so I prefer to use this one as a tank or as a second monster. Still, it totally depends on the ruleset but the common usage is second or tank position which I prefer to use to not lose the battle. :D
