Full Moon Festival in Anumun - a Splinterlands story [pt 1] [ENG/ITA]

Hello all Splinterlands and Hive friends. I have recently started this new project where I tell stories based on the Lore of Splinterlands and my own inventions, both of battles and cards. Let me know what you think.

There are four major festivities in Anumun. One of these is the Full Moon Party in Gobson.

Gobson is populated by Goblins and is one of the two big cities in Anumun together with Lyveria (populated by humans). The Full Moon Party is also the only party in Gobson and as you know, Goblins in terms of parties necessarily want to be superior to humans. Preparations usually start early in the morning. The Goblins divide their tasks, one part thinks about setting up the entertainment area, another part thinks about the fireworks. The Goblins have a fixation on fireworks, they think of nothing else. They prepare every time to literally blow up the city, they don't care about anything. The only thing they want is for the fireworks to be visible as far as Lyveria. The preparations therefore take a long time, all the Goblins prepare themselves to the best of their ability. Only the best pyrotechnics will be used. The important thing is to outdo the humans, the rest does not matter.

The other part of the Goblins do their best to collect as much alcohol as possible. Whether it is beer or drinks matters little. What is certain is that one drink in particular must never be lacking. It is Gorubinog, a mixture of herbal liqueurs that are gathered in the Garden of the Giants and left to soak in alcohol for five months. Woe betide if there is not enough, no goblin should go without.

The feast is a real wild event. Singing, dancing and delirium under the light of the full moon. All the goblins gather at midnight sharp around a gigantic bonfire, toast with the Gorubinog and amid singing and dancing watch the firework display.

A small detail that escaped me, the humans are careful not to participate in the feast. The walls of Lyveria close at every Full Moon festival. The human city's defence organs ask its inhabitants not to go to Gobson during such an event under any circumstances. The physical repercussions they might have are absurd. There are some legends circulating in the city of Lyveria that tell of some unfortunate human who happened to end up in Gobson during the festival. Of him there is no trace.

Goblins on the occasion of the Full Moon Festival do not put brakes on themselves, they could drink and dance for days on end without ever stopping. For them, the moon is sacred, and therefore the day dedicated to her is a special day of feasting and frenzy until dawn. No Goblin has ever missed a Full Moon Party and I believe that no one will ever miss one.

Salve a tutti amici di Splinterlands e di Hive. Ho da poco iniziato questo nuovo progetto in cui racconto storie basandomi sulla Lore di Splinterlands e su mie invenzioni, sia di battaglie che di carte. Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate.

Ci sono quattro grandi ricorrenze ad Anumun. Una di queste è la Full Moon Party a Gobson.

Gobson è popolata dai Goblin ed è una delle due grandi città di Anumun insieme a Lyveria ( popolata da umani). La Full Moon Party è anche l'unica festa di Gobson e si sa, i Goblin in quanto a feste vogliono necessariamente essere superiori agli umani. Di solito i preparativi iniziano dalla mattina presto. I Goblin dividono i loro compiti, una parte pensa all'allestimento della zona di intrattenimento, un'altra parte pensa ai fuochi d'artificio. I Goblin hanno una fissazione per i fuochi d'artificio, non pensano a nient'altro. Si preparano ogni volta per far esplodere letteralmente la città, a loro non importa nulla. L'unica cosa che vogliono è che i fuochi pirotecnici siano visibili fino a Lyveria. I preparativi dunque sono molto lunghi, tutti i Goblin si preparano al meglio. Solo i giochi pirotecnici migliori verranno usati. L'importante è primeggiare sugli umani, del resto non importa.

L'altra parte dei Goblin si adopera per raccogliere la maggior quantità possibile di alcool. Che sia birra o siano drink poco importa. La cosa certa è che un drink in particolare non deve mai mancare. Si tratta del Gorubinog, un miscuglio di liquori alle erbe che vengono raccolte nel Giardino dei Giganti e lasciati a macerare nell'alcool per 5 mesi. Guai se non ce n'è abbastanza, nessun goblin deve restare senza.

La festa è un vero e proprio evento selvaggio. Canti, balli e delirio sotto la luce della luna piena. Tutti i goblin si riuniscono a mezza notte in punto attorno ad un gigantesco falò, brindano con il Gorubinog e tra canti e balli assistono allo spettacolo pirotecnico.

Un piccolo dettaglio che mi è sfuggito, gli umani si guardano bene dal partecipare alla festa. Le mura di Lyveria si chiudono ad ogni festa della Luna Piena. Gli organi di difesa della città umana chiedono ai propri abitanti di non andare per nessun motivo al mondo a Gobson durante tale evento. Le ripercussioni fisiche che potrebbero avere sono assurde. Ci sono alcune leggende che circolano nella città di Lyveria che racconto di qualche malcapitato umano finito per caso a Gobson durante la festa. Di lui non si hanno più tracce.

I Goblin in occasione della Festa della Luna Piena non si pongono freni, potrebbero bere e ballare per giorni e giorni senza mai fermarsi. Per loro la luna è sacra e pertanto il giorno a lei dedicato è un giorno speciale, fatto di festa e delirio fino all'alba. Nessun Goblin ha mai mancato una Full Moon Party e credo che mai nessuno se ne perderà una.
