Full Moon Party in Anumun - A splinterland story [pt.36] [ENG/ITA]

Hello all Splinterlands and Hive friends. I have recently started this new project where I tell stories based on the Lore of Splinterlands and my own inventions, both of battles and cards. Let me know what you think.

The long journey home had begun. The three Humans, together with the gnome Supply, had set off to return to Lyveria. The journey was long and in some cases dangerous. But the Three Humans had the blessing of Kron The Undying and Spirit Of The Forest, so they would have nothing to fear... maybe...

Rexxie, the legendary inhabitant of the Primordic Grasslands, is also the most dangerous being in them. A gigantic dinosaur that forgives nothing and no one. If he crosses your path, it certainly won't be a good time. Spirit Of The Forest relegated the Rexxies to the Grasslands, both to defend them from the behaviour of the other inhabitants of Anumun, and to defend the inhabitants of Anumun themselves... especially the Humans, who could do nothing against these gigantic dinosaurs. Their size makes them among the most dangerous beings in the entire Splinterlands. Their teeth are so sharp they can butcher a body in seconds, their claws are like swords. They can destroy entire armies, and in fact in times long past, they were deployed by the authorities of Anumun against the peoples who threatened the Terra Empire. Soon after it was realised that being indomitable beings they were not at all predictable and could not be left alone, hence why they were relegated to the Grasslands, where they could live out their wild lives and cause almost no trouble.

ROOOOAAAAARRRRRR

A huge, thunderous roar was heard. The Three Humans and Supply Runner stood motionless, unable to move or speak. In front of them stood Rexxie. In front of him they really looked tiny. Such imposing size conveyed fear just by looking at him.

" Sinder...." stammered Finnerick.

"Finn..." replied Sinder to his friend Finnerick.

Ginderuc and Supply Runner, on the other hand, did not utter a single word, zero.

The humans really didn't know what to do. They hinted at talking to each other but seemed to be stuttering in fear. They were frozen, white in the face. Restless, bewildered.

" Sinder..." repeated Finnerick again.

" Finn, I'm here..." said Sinder trying to reassure his friend.

" I know, I know..." replied Finnerick.

" What do we do?" asked Sinder.

" Sinder... if you don't know..."

ROOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR

Finnerick was interrupted. Another roar, another roar, another big scare.

Rexxie didn't seem restless, he was quite calm for a t-rex living in the wild in a giant space of acres of land where all human form was banished. He was probably studying his new prey....

" Sinder... why is he watching us?"

" I don't know Finn..."

Sinder was interrupted as well.

SNIFF SNIFF SNIFF

Rexxie started sniffing the three humans, then switched to the gnome. After that he turned his snout away from the four.

" Sinder..." said Finnerick.

" Yes Finn," Sinder interrupted him, " He sniffed us."

" He wants to eat us, I knew it...damn us...why...why..." began Finnerick in despair.

" Take it easy Finn... He pulled his snout away and didn't show us his teeth, that's a good sign..." said Sinder.

ROAAAAAAAAARRRRRR

Again a roar straight into the face of his Human friends.

"What do we do Sinder? We can't just stand around like this... we have to run!" proposed Finnerick..

" Yeah, that'll get us in 10 seconds," replied Sinder.

" We could split up!" shouted Finnerick.

" Really a brilliant idea Finn!" shouted Sinder.

" Thanks Sinder..." he was immediately interrupted by Sinder:

" Does it look like we're splitting up? Can you believe it? We should all be lost?" shouted Sinder.

" So what do we do?" asked Finnerick.

" ROOOOOOOOOAAAAARRRRRRRR"

Salve a tutti amici di Splinterlands e di Hive. Ho da poco iniziato questo nuovo progetto in cui racconto storie basandomi sulla Lore di Splinterlands e su mie invenzioni, sia di battaglie che di carte. Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate.

Il lungo viaggio di ritorno a casa era cominciato. I tre Umani, insieme allo gnomo Supply, erano partiti per far ritorno a Lyveria. Il percorso era lungo e in alcuni casi pericoloso. Ma i Tre Umani avevano la benedizione di Kron The Undying e di Spirit Of The Forest, per cui non avrebbero avuto nulla da temere... forse...

Rexxie, il leggendario abitante delle Primordic Grasslands, è anche l'essere più pericoloso di esse. Un gigantesco dinosauro che non perdona niente e nessuno. Se ti incrocia, di sicuro non sarà un bel momento. Spirit Of The Forest relegò gli esemplari di Rexxies nelle Grasslands, sia per difenderli dai comportamenti degli altri abitanti di Anumun, sia per difendere gli abitanti di Anumun stessi... soprattutto gli Umani che nulla potevano contro questi giganteschi dinosauri. La loro stazza li rende tra gli esseri più pericolosi dell'intero Splinterlands. I loro denti sono così affilati da poter macellare un corpo in pochi secondi, le loro unghie sono come spade. Possono distruggere intere armate e infatti in tempi lontanissimi, furono schierati in campo dalle autorità di Anumun contro i popoli che minacciavano l'impero di Terra. Subito dopo ci si rese conto che essendo esseri indomabili non erano affatto prevedibili e non potevano essere lasciati tranquilli, da qui il motivo per cui furono rilegati nelle Grasslands, dove potevano vivere la loro vita selvaggia e non causare quasi nessun problema.

ROOOOAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR

si udì un enorme, gigantesco, fragoroso ruggito. I Tre Umani e supply Runner restarono immobili, non riuscivano ne a muoversi ne a parlare. Di fronte a loro c'era Rexxie. Di fronte a lui sembravano davvero minuscoli. Una stazza così imponente trasmetteva paura solo a guardarlo.

" Sinder...." balbettò Finnerick.

" Finn..." rispose Sinder all'amico Finnerick.

Ginderuc e Supply Runner invece non emisero neanche una parola, zero.

Gli umani non sapevano davvero cosa fare. Accennavano a parlarsi ma sembrava balbettassero dalla paura. Erano bloccati, bianchi in viso. Irrequieti, spaesati.

" Sinder.." ripetè ancora Finnerick.

" Finn, sono qui..." disse Sinder cercando di tranquillizzare l'amico.

" Lo so, lo so..." rispose Finnerick.

" Che facciamo?" chiese Sinder.

" Sinder.. se non lo sai tu..."

ROOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRR

Fu interrotto Finnerick. Un altro boato, un altro ruggito, un altro grande spavento.

Rexxie non sembrava irrequieto, era abbastanza calmo per essere un t-rex che vive allo stato brado in uno spazio gigantesco di ettari di terreno dove ogni forma umana era bandita. Probabilmente stava studiando le sue nuove prede...

" Sinder... perchè ci osserva?"

" Non lo so Finn..."

Fu interrotto anche Sinder.

SNIFF SNIFF SNIFF

Rexxie iniziò ad annusare i tre umani, poi passò allo gnomo. Dopodichè allontanò il muso dai quattro.

" Sinder..." disse Finnerick.

" Si Finn" lo interruppe Sinder, " Ci ha annusati".

" Ci vuole mangiare, lo sapevo... maledetti noi... perchè... perchè..." iniziò a disperarsi Finnerick.

" Stai calmo Finn... ha allontanato il muso e non ci ha mostrato i denti, è un buon segno..." disse Sinder.

ROAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR

Di nuovo un ruggito dritto dritto in faccia agli amici Umani.

" Che facciamo Sinder? Non possiamo starcene così... dobbiamo scappare!" propose Finnerick..

" Si, così ci prende in 10 secondi" rispose Sinder.

" Potremmo dividerci!" urlò Finnerick.

" Davvero una idea geniale Finn!" urlò Sinder.

" Grazie Sinder..." fu subito interrotto da Sinder:

" Ma ti pare che ci separiamo? Ma ti rendi conto? Dovremmo perderci tutti?" urlò Sinder.

" E allora? cosa facciamo?" chiese Finnerick.

" ROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
