Hello all Splinterlands and Hive friends. I have recently started this new project where I tell stories based on the Lore of Splinterlands and my own inventions, both of battles and cards. Let me know what you think.

pngegg_1_.png

The long journey home had begun. The three Humans, together with the gnome Supply, had set off to return to Lyveria. The journey was long and in some cases dangerous. But the Three Humans had the blessing of Kron The Undying and Spirit Of The Forest, so they would have nothing to fear... maybe...

.

Harvester is a strange lizard-bodied beast with huge scorpion claws and elephant tusks. Its bright yellow spirited eyes and other details make it a truly strange beast. As if it were a bit of a mixture of various creatures found in nature, something very strange indeed.
Its story is a peculiar and mysterious one. Some malicious scientists from Gobson, then Goblins, studied the creature at a desk and managed to make it in the laboratory. Their aim was to use it in battle, especially to defend the town of Gobson from invaders. The problem, however, was that they could not control the creature, so the first creation managed to escape. So they tried again and made, again in the laboratory, an exact copy of the first Harvester. But even in this case, it proved indomitable and managed to escape from Gobson's dark laboratory.
The creatures were too dangerous to leave them free to roam the cities, so the Goblins were forced to call a meeting of the Great Council of Anumun to admit their responsibility and ask Spirit Of The Forest for a hand.
The Grand Council met and the punishment for Gobson's scientists was very harsh, the laboratory was closed and the scientists working on the project were harshly punished with years and years in prison. The creatures were intercepted and it was decided that they would live in the Primordic Grasslands, because there they would find primordial creatures as strong as or stronger than them and could live like any other beast in the Grasslands.

The problem was that these creatures multiplied at a rapid rate, until the Great Council had to meet again and determine that they could no longer reproduce, the ceiling being set at 50 units.

Over time, the number of Harvester units present in the Primordic Grasslands decreased, there are now only 16 Harversters.

One of these had just visited its human friends...

After escaping the first danger encountered on the path through the tall grass, and after allowing themselves a break for food and a battery recharge, the three humans together with Supply Runner and his cart resume their journey towards Lyveria.

The next stop is the Southern Gob Hub, the only safe place in the great Grasslands of Primordia. The only safe spot, yes, but not for Humans. Not that the place itself is anything dangerous, but simply because Humans really shouldn't go into the Grasslands.

Another huge roar was heard from the travelling Humans. The worry was great. They had read about Rexxie in school books, never imagining they would find a specimen of him before their eyes. For now, at least, it seemed that Rexxie did not want to be seen by the three Humans. But somehow he seemed to be alerting them to his presence in the Grasslands.

" Sinder!" shouted Finnerick suddenly.

" What is it Finn?"

" Did you hear that?" replied Finnerick.

" What Finn?" asked Sinder to his friend.

" It sounds like something or someone is moving here in the grass, it's not far from us... listen to the noises... what if it's Rexxie?" asked Finnerick worriedly.

''Finn, my dear...you are letting yourself be influenced. What do you think if Rexxie was moving around in our vicinity... would you hear a rustling in the grass or loud noises due to the fact that he is basically a huge freaking dinosaur?" said Sinder.

" Maybe you're right Sinder," said Finnerick.

" Not maybe Finn... I'm definitely right!" retorted Sinder.

" Yes, maybe I'm letting myself get carried away..."

" Eh yes, I would say so!" said Sinder firmly, reassuring Finnerick.

" How much longer to the Hub do you think?" asked Finnerick again.

" I think four hours, we've been walking for a long time now... the sun is getting low. Soon the sun will set and we'll be in the dark.."

" In the dark huh? And how are we going to do that? It will be even more difficult not to notice every little movement of the tall grass... every little rustle, every little noise..."

" Easy Finn! Remember Gobson? The moon used to light up everything, it seemed to be daytime because of how much light it gave off!" replied Sinder.

" Well... yes... but it was a full moon!" said Finnerick.

"Actually... come on, let's pick up the pace... we'll try to reduce the hours of darkness... let's try to make the most of this last hour of sunshine and those few minutes of sunset!" answered Sinder.

The Three Humans then picked up the pace, the problem was Supply Runner who had the burden of having to pull the cart full of supplies that had been donated to the Humans by Kron The Undying to Gobson's gates.

"We must find a solution for this cart Finn!" said Sinder.

" I'm thinking about it now Sinder! I think we need to give the gnome a hand, let's also tie ourselves to the cart and try to pull it better!"

" Eh yes Finn but we can't all tie ourselves to the wagon, there's no room... there's only room for one of us besides Supply Runner!" correctly observed Sinder.

" Then we'll have to take turns!" replied Finnerick.

" Great idea Finn! I'll start!" said Sinder.

So the Humans tried to pick up the pace a bit in order to make the most of the hours of daylight they had left to get to the dreaded Southern Gob Hub, a place not so suitable for Humans... but certainly much, much safer than walking in the open field in the Primordic Grasslands.

The footsteps of the Humans were getting louder and louder, the hours of daylight dwindling. Noises were becoming more and more frequent.

The anxiety of encountering something else increased....

" Sinder!" urlò all'improvviso Finnerick.

" Che c'è Finn?"

" Hai sentito?" rispose Finnerick.

" Cosa Finn?" chiese Sinder all'amico.

" Finn, caro mio.. ti stai lasciando suggestionare.

" Secondo te quanto manca all'Hub?" chiese ancora Finnerick.

E come faremo? Sarà ancora più difficile non notare ogni minimo movimento dell'erba alta..ogni minimo fruscìo, ogni minimo rumore.."

" Tranquillo Finn! Ricordi a Gobson?

" Ci stavo pensando adesso Sinder!

Dear @ivanslait, sorry to jump in a bit off topic but may I ask you to support the HiveSQL proposal?
It lost its funding recently and your help would be much appreciated to keep the HiveSQL service free for the Hive community.
You can do it on Peakd, Ecency, Hive.blog or using HiveSigner.

Thank you for your support!
