The Absolute Cheapest way to buy Splinterlands Cards

(Edited)

A normal market has a price someone is willing to sell their card for on Splinterlands we call that the LIST price... did you know there is a way to indicate what you as the buyer are willing to pay for a card? https://peakmonsters.com/market

THERE IS NO DENYING IT...

There is NO DOUBT in my mind that the cheapest way to buy SPLINTERLANDS cards is with MARKET BIDS which are available on https://peakmonsters.com/market

There is NO amount of kickback you can get to beat the prices of simply buying the cards for way lower amounts.

Go in find a card you want and if you want to save...
You want a discount of 3% or 5% or even 10%
...then make a bid for 3/5/10% lower than what it's listed.

You can see a small exmple below how bids has saved players over 5% hundreds of times a day.

It's easy to get 3/5/10% discounts on list prices because the bidders right now are winning with bids even 50% lower because they are bid hodlers who already own 10s of thousands of dollars of cards so they don't care if they only save 10% because bid revamp is new and the spread is still large. But you're a player and you want to save 3/5/10% maybe more? Go make some bids.

MULTI-BCX

  • And now you can bid for combined cards not just 1bcx/level-1 cards. (NEW UPDATE)
  • And today the rarity bid UI improves and some users will be able to bid above the 115bcx limit.

As you can see below there were a couple multi bcx cards I purchased today via bids
And i don't even have that many top bids because i already own too many cards

cards#nameeditionbcxpricelowbuySAVINGS PER CARD
1xMother KhalaUntamed14$2.500.31643.4%
6xFineas RageReward1$0.042.0456.6%
3xContessa L'amentUntamed1$0.320.36612.5%
20xArmorsmithPromo1$0.020.02416.6%
1xUndead ArcherPromo5$0.350.0756.6%

This is not just a random experience this is the norm.

There is just NO WAY ... NO SITE that can get you a better price for cards you want than using a BID on PeakMonsters.

ONLY EXCEPTION: IF YOU ARE IN A RUSH...

If you are in a rush and need cards right then and there you will probably need to stick with list price. Or perhaps if you think a particular card is at the bottom and heading up maybe buying list price is better than the price you think it will increase to.

DON'T PlAN ON CRAZY MISTAKES... but enjoy errors in your favor

It's true you can get some of those 43.4% savings on cards when you're the top bidder but that's because the person listing the card wasn't using PeakMonsters to do the listing so they didn't know it's real value. Peakmonsters doesn't want our users to make mistakes like that... we warn them.

But if someone is listing cards on some other sites we are more than willing to benefit our own users and save them big. So let's say you put a listing to save 7% off list pricing you will normally save 7% but it's true sometimes you'll save a lot more.

So ask yourself what do you want to save? Perhaps 3-4% make a bid for 4% less and it's likely to get fulfilled. Right now most BID users are old time holders looking for deals they aren't people trying to create a new team.

And the revamped bid system is so new the bids are rarely very high. As you can see many of the bidders are looking for crazy deals from users selling way below list. The spread is way big but will get smaller as time goes on and people realize that if they want to save 4% or 5% or 10% they should use BIDS on Peakmonsters.com

MORAL OF STORY: Listing cards anywhere but PeakMonsters may loose you money.

The data can't be refuted if you want the cheapest way to buy cards there is no other way for a user to buy cards for cheaper... any other site or system will cost you more. PERIOD

Oh another note: There is presently no card that doesn't have a bid 6% higher than DEC burn.

The bid market is one of the coolest ways to buy cards in Splinterlands. Great that it is back!

@jarvie, thanks for highlighting this. Would you be able to please share insights as to how often bids are fulfilled? I have tried by putting up bids, but none were filled.

if your bids are close to listing price like 3-7% away they get filled often ... if you're waiting on a crazy good deal then you probably have to wait a long time.
