Hello to all the Splinterlands community, today I want to show you a drawing of a water type card with the name of Nerissa Tridawn from the Chaos Legion collection.

Having the reference of the character, I decided to make the face, adding the mythical characteristics of the character as his clothing, the story of this character is as follows:

Teniendo la referencia del personaje, me decidí en hacer el rostro, agregándole las míticas características del personajes como su vestimenta, la historia de este personaje es la siguiente:

Nerissa is a proud warrior of the water. Armed with her enchanted trident, she defends the seas, the rivers, and the lakes. She is well known across coastal villages, and they often call on her for help. She has slain great sea beasts that would otherwise kill everyone in their path. She has rescued sailors from hurricanes, and even warned villages of incoming tsunamis to save lives. Her bravery and brilliance in battle have led to her being called Nerissa the Hurricane.

Nerissa was born and raised by the ocean, and could swim before she could walk. She always felt the sea called to her. And within her it stirred a deep magic. An ancient mana of tides and waves. Nerissa answered the call, and travels between the continents of the Splinterlands.

When settlers and explorers made their way to Praetoria, Nerissa was there to help with every step of the journey. But the blight that gripped the land worried her deeply. Its corruption spread into the waters that she loved so dearly. She often caught herself crossing paths with Igor the Finback and his tribe of Trench Dwellers. Each time she had to pull back or risk all of them attacking her at once.

Nerissa es una orgullosa guerrera del agua. Armada con su tridente encantado, defiende los mares, los ríos y los lagos. Es muy conocida en las aldeas costeras, que a menudo le piden ayuda. Ha matado a grandes bestias marinas que, de otro modo, habrían matado a todos a su paso. Cuando colonos y exploradores se dirigieron a Praetoria, Nerissa estuvo allí para ayudar en cada paso del viaje. Pero la plaga que asolaba la tierra la preocupaba profundamente. Su corrupción se extendía a las aguas que tanto amaba. A menudo se cruzaba con Igor el Jorobado y su tribu de Moradores de las Fosas. Cada vez tenía que retroceder o arriesgarse a que la atacaran todos a la vez.

Process

  • I started making the sketch of the character in the traditional way using pencil and paper and then pass it to the program I'm using, the character design I added a pose that I found on Pinterest, I wanted to share it, but I can't find it hahahaha and for the hand I also used one.
  • Comencé realizando el boceto del personaje de la manera tradicional utilizando lápiz y papel para luego pasarlo al programa que estoy utilizando, el diseño del personaje le agregue una pose que encontré en Pinterest, la quería compartir, pero no la encuentro jajajaja y para la mano también utilice una.

  • Once the sketch was in the program I continued adding a base color to each of the elements that make up this illustration, starting with the skin, the hair and finally the clothing.
  • Una vez el boceto en el programa proseguí con ir agregando un color base a cada uno de los elementos que conforman esta ilustración, comenzando por la piel, el cabello y por ultimo la vestimenta.

  • At this stage of the drawing I started rendering using the airbrush and the blend tool for the face having a great result in the nose of the character, from there I continued with the other elements of the face like the eyes, the lip and the hair.
  • En esta etapa del dibujo empecé a renderizar usando el aerógrafo y la herramienta blend para el rostro teniendo un gran resultado en la nariz del personaje, a partir de allí seguí con los demás elementos del rostro como los ojos, el labio y el cabello.

  • For the background I decided to use the blue color to make an ocean with several bubbles and to make a sphere with a sparkle transmitting a great power.
  • Para el fondo decidí en utilizar el color azul para hacer un océano con varias burbujas y hacer una esfera con un destello transmitiendo un gran poder.
