Share your Battle! Pelacor Arbalest
Introduction
New week, new challenge. This time it's Pelacor Arbalest's turn, a life card that is one of my favorites, I always try to play it because I think it's one of the best in the Chaos Legion edition.
Semana nueva, reto nuevo. Esta vez le ha llegado el turno a Pelacor Arbalest, una carta de vida que es de mis favoritas, intento jugarla siempre porqué creo que es de las mejores de la edición de Chaos Legion.
Pelacor Arbalest
The card of the week is a rare card. It is currently $0.26 in its normal version and $3.4 in its golden foil. I usually like to have the gold cards, and since it's a card I use so much, I did.
La carta de la semana es una carta rara. Actualmente se encuentra a 0,26$ en su versión normal y a 3,4$ en su versión dorada. Normalmente me gusta tener las cartas doradas, y al tratarse de una carta que utilizo tanto así lo hice.
Pelacor Arbalest costs 6 mana, at level 1 it has 2 ranged attack, 2 speed, 2 health, and has the double hit ability. This ability along with the combination of the summoner of Chaos Legion (General Sloan) is what makes it a great card for me. The only "downside" you have is its high mana cost for a card with 2 life, but for me it's worth it. At level 2 it gains 1 life point, at level 3 another point, and at level 4 (maximum for silver league level) it gains a speed point. Because it is not one of the cheapest cards, I only have it at level 2, I think that going up to level 4 is a great investment for only 1 health point and 1 speed. Of course, for higher leagues it is very interesting to have it at level 5 where it gets the ability to fly or at level 7 where it gains 1 additional point of damage.
Pelacor Arbalest cuesta 6 de maná, a nivel 1 tiene 2 puntos de ataque a distancia, 2 de velocidad, 2 de salud y tiene la habilidad de golpe doble. Ésta habilidad junto con la combinación del invocador de Chaos Legion (General Sloan) es lo que la hacen para mi una gran carta. La única "pega" que tienes es su alto coste de maná para una carta con 2 de vida, pero para mi lo vale. A nivel 2 gana 1 puntos de vida, a nivel 3 otro punto más, y a nivel 4 (máximo para nivel para liga plata) gana un punto de velocidad. Debido que no es de las cartas más baratas yo solo la tengo a nivel 2, creo que subir a nivel 4 es una gran inversión para solo ganar 1 punto de salud y 1 de velocidad. Eso sí, para ligas superiores es muy interesante tenerla a nivel 5 dónde obtiene la habilidad de volar o a nivel 7 dónde gana 1 punto adicional de daño.
My battle
In this case the battle conditions are Keep your Distance and Equalizer. In these conditions, I know that the enemy will not use melee attack, so there will surely be a lot of magic attack and maybe also ranged. So I think using Chaos Legion's new legendary summoner of life (Grandmaster Rathe) can be a very good option. Also the Equalizer condition means I can play low health cards without worrying about them dying quickly.
En este caso las condiciones de batalla son Keep your Distance y Equalizer. En estas condiciones, sé que el enemigo no utilizará ataque de melé, con lo que seguramente habrá mucho ataque mágico y quizá también a distancia. Así que creo que utilizar el nuevo invocador legendario de vida de Chaos Legion (Grandmaster Rathe) puede ser una muy buena opción. Además la condición de Equalizer hace que pueda jugar cartas con poca vida sin preocuparme para que mueran rápidamente.
Line up
1- Pelacor Conjurer
Good card for only 2 mana. Since I believe that the enemy will use magic attack, it can be very useful for me to reflect magical attacks, which together with the summoner's Amplify ability can be lethal to the enemy. It also has good speed and the ability to fly, so it will surely be able to dodge any ranged attack.
Buena carta por solo 2 de maná. Como creo que el enemigo utilizará mágia me puede ser muy útil para reflejar los ataques mágicos, que junto con la habilidad de Amplificar del invocador puede ser letal para el enemigo. También tiene buena velocidad y la habilidad de volar, con lo que seguramente podrá esquivar algun ataque a distancia del rival.
2- Time Mage
I'm well protected against magic attacks thanks to the summoner and the first card with reflect, so I'm going to take some speed off the enemy to help Pelacor dodge some ranged attacks.
Estoy bien protegido contra la mágia gracias al invocador y a la primera carta con reflejar, así que voy a restar algo de velocidad al enemigo para ayudar a que el Pelacor pueda esquivar algunos ataques a distancia.
3- Scavo Hireling
Since magic attacks can't directly lower my life due to the Void ability that the summoner gives me, I think it will be very important to regenerate the shield.
Cómo los ataques mágicos no pueden bajarme la vida directamente debido a la habilidad de Vacío que me da el invocador, creo que será muy importante regenerar el escudo.
4- Adelade Brightwing
Another of my favorite cards in life. Costs 7 mana, but regenerates shield and also resurrects the first card that dies. I use it in most of the games that I use life as long as the mana allows me.
Otra de mis cartas favoritas en vida. Cuesta 7 de maná, pero regenera escudo y además resucita a la primera carta que muera. La utilizo en la mayoria de las partidas que utilizo vida siempre que el maná me lo permita.
5- Venari Crystalsmith
Another of my essentials in life, especially for its healing ability, there is no game in life that does not use it, for me it is a very undervalued card.
Otra de mis imprescindibles en vida, sobretodo por su habilidad de sanación, no hay partida en vida que no la utilice, para mi es una carta muy infravalorada.
6- Pelacor Arbalest
I've already talked about the card of the week, although this time I don't use General Sloan which gives him an extra point of damage, I think it will help me a lot. As there is Equalizer I can use it in the last position without having to protect it from Sneaks.
Ya he hablado sobre la carta de la semana, a pesar de que esta vez no utilice el General Sloan que le da un punto extra de daño creo que me va a ayudar mucho. Como hay Equalizer la puedo utilizar en la última posición sin tenerla que protejer de los Sneaks.
Line up Costs
Let's look at the price of the decks to see if the most expensive deck wins (which should mean better cards) or you don't have to spend a lot of money to win if you know how to use the cards well. Knowing that there are gold cards that are very expensive compared to the normal version, I only take into account the price of the card according to the level and considering the normal version.

Vamos a ver el precio de los mazos para ver si gana el mazo más caro (lo que deberían implicar mejores cartas) o no es necesario gastarse mucho dinero para ganar si se saben utilizar bien las cartas. Sabiendo que hay cartas doradas que son muy caras respecto la versión normal, tengo en cuenta sólo el precio de la carta según el nivel y considerando la versión normal.

El precio de mercado a día de hoy de las cartas de mi equipo asciende a: 85$
As we can see the price of the two decks is very unequal, the opponent's deck is twice more expensive than mine, but lets see if happens the same in the battle.
Como podemos ver el precio de los dos mazos es muy desigual, el mazo del rival es aproximadamente el doble que el mío, pero vamos a ver si esto se transmite en la batalla.

Did my Strategy Work?
The truth is that the strategy has worked very well for me, especially for using the summoner together with the shield regeneration. It has worked very well for me that the two cards that I have used to regenerate the shield had very different speeds (1 and 3), so they have always been able to regenerate the shield, avoiding much greater damage. Surprisingly, the Pelacor have not dodged a single attack, and that the probability of dodging was between 25 and 45%.
La verdad es que la estrategia me ha funcionado muy bien, sobretodo por utilizar el invocador junto con la regeneración de escudo. Me ha funcionado muy bien que las dos cartas que he utilizado para regenerar el escudo tuvieran velocidades muy distintas (1 y 3), así siempre han podido regenerar el escudo, evitando un daño mucho mayor. Sorprendentemente el Pelacor no he esquivado ni un solo ataque, y eso que la probabilidad de esquivar era entre el 25 y el 45%.
In this case, despite the fact that the rival team was 2 times more expensive than mine, it has not been able to win my team and my strategy. Here I leave you the summary table of the Battle Challenges won by the expensive and cheap deck since I do the follow-up.
