First impressions of Runemancer Kye: be careful with her siren song (EN-ES)
Hello Splinterlands friends, welcome once again to a new installment of this series of posts dedicated to the most spectacular cards of the Riftwatchers edition of Splinterlands.
This time it is the turn to talk to you about Runemancer Kye, an amazing card that I had not played with it yet but that has surprised me very pleasantly.
As usual, we will analyze its combat stats, skills, to later give way to the study of several combats and finally I will give my final verdict.
Let's start with the analysis ...
Hola amigos de Splinterlands, bienvenidos una vez más a una nueva entrega de esta serie de posts dedicados a las cartas más espectaculares de la edición Riftwatchers de Splinterlands.
En esta ocasión es el turno de hablaros de Runemancer Kye, una sorprendente carta que no había jugado con ella aún pero que me ha sorprendido muy gratamente.
Como es habitual, vamos a analizar sus estadísticas de combate, habilidades, para más tarde dar paso al estudio de varios combates y por último daré mi veredicto final.
Comencemos con el análisis ...
Runemancer Kye is a legendary rarity card from the Riftwatchers edition. It belongs to the Water Splinter and like almost all the cards of this edition is characterized by its creatures of a high mana cost and very powerful.
At level 1 this creature has 2 points of magic attack, 3 points of speed, 5 points of shield and 8 points of life.
Runemancer Kye es una carta de rareza legendaria de la edición Riftwatchers. Pertenece al Splinter Agua y como casi todas las cartas de esta edición se caracteriza por sus criaturas de un elevado coste de maná y muy poderosas.
A nivel 1 esta criatura cuenta con 2 puntos de ataque mágico, 3 puntos de velocidad, 5 puntos de escudo y 8 puntos de vida.
In the following image we can see how it evolves thanks to the increase of levels. At level 2 it would get +1 to its magic attack and at level 4 another +1 to its magic attack.
One of the most powerful creatures of the Splinter Water and that is also reinforced by the abilities that it has and that we will talk about next.
En la siguiente imagen podemos apreciar como evoluciona gracias a la subida de niveles. A nivel 2 conseguiría +1 a su ataque mágico y a nivel 4 otro +1 a su ataque mágico.
Una de las criaturas más poderosas del Splinter Agua y que además se ve reforzada por las habilidades de las que dispone y de las que hablaremos a continuación.
FLYING
Runemancer Kye has the Flying skill at level 1. Perfect for dodging attacks and not suffering the Earthquake condition. One of the most common skills in the game but very useful.
Runemancer Kye dispone de la habilidad Flying a nivel 1. Perfecta para esquivar ataques y no sufrir la condición Earthquake. Una de las habilidades más comunes dentro del juego pero que resulta muy útil.
LIFE LEECH
The second ability available at level 1 is Life Leech. And it is this ability that makes it surprisingly powerful, since in addition to its vitality, every time it hits an enemy card it gains +1 life.
La segunda habilidad que dispone a nivel 1 es Life Leech. Y es esta la habilidad que la hace sorprendentemente poderosa, ya que además de su vitalidad, cada vez que golpe una carta enemiga gana +1 de vida.
FURY
Finally, at level 3 learn the new skill Fury, very useful due to the large number of creatures that have appeared with the Taunt skill. We will be able to do double damage to all these creatures.
Por último, a nivel 3 aprende la nueva habilidad Fury, muy útil debido a la gran cantidad de criaturas que han aparecido con la habilidad Taunt. Conseguiremos hacer el doble de daño a todas éstas criaturas.

I have selected 3 fights with really powerful opponents. In all of them Runemancer Kye is placed in the last positions because our goal will always be to raise her vitality as much as possible before finishing in first position and receiving more damage.
In the first fight it is spectacular. My opponent plays some incredible cards, all gold. I use my summoner Aquatus and thanks to his Backfire ability along with Flying and my Djinn Oshannus with his incredible speed he takes a lot of damage. It is one of my favorite fights and in which we can appreciate the potential of Riftwatchers edition cards like their water summoner.
The second is another epic fight. The Spreading Fury combat condition is ideal to be used with Aquatus since all creatures increase their speed and attack when hit which makes it easier to dodge attacks and in turn generate damage thanks to Backfire. This is a fight in which Djinn Oshannus shows all his power.
Finally, in the third fight we can see how our Runemancer Kye gets to 14 health points. In this fight we get the victory thanks to using Wave Brood with Taunt that attracts all the damage and Venari Wavesmith that gives us enough time shield.
He seleccionado 3 combates con oponentes realmente poderosos. En todos ellos Runemancer Kye está colocada en las últimas posiciones porque nuestro objtivo siempre será que suba su vitalidad lo máximo posible antes de acabar en primera posición y reciba más daño.
En el primer combate es espectacular. Mi oponente juega unas cartas increíbles todas doradas. Yo utilizo a mi invocador Aquatus y gracias a su habilidad Backfire junto con Flying y mi Djinn Oshannus con su increíble velocidad hacen que reciba mucho daño. Es uno de mis combates favoritos y en los que podemos apreciar el potencial de cartas de la edición Riftwatchers como su invocador de agua.
En el segundo es otro combate épico. La condición de combate Spreading Fury es ideal para ser usada con Aquatus ya que todas las criaturas incrementan su velocidad y ataque al ser golpeadas lo que hace que sea más fácil esquivar ataques y que a su vez generemos daño gracias a Backfire. Este es un combate en el que Djinn Oshannus muestra todo su poderio.
Por último, el tercer combate podemos observar como nuestra Runemancer Kye llega a ponerse con 14 puntos de vida. En este combate conseguimos la victoria gracias a usar a Wave Brood con Taunt que atrae todo el daño y a Venari Wavesmith que nos otorga escudo el tiempo suficiente.
We are facing another incredible creature, Runemancer Kye is a card that although it has a high mana cost, for those battles in which we have enough mana it is indispensable.
We must wait 2-3 turns for it to increase its life enough so that after that it will be very difficult to kill it. It can only be defeated if the enemy has a card with the Giant Killer skill.
Of course that the Water Splinter has among its ranks authentic wonders of cards that combining them together make this Splinter one of the most powerful along with the Dragon.
Estamos ante otra criatura increíble, Runemancer Kye es una carta que aunque tenga un coste elevado de maná, para esas batallas en las que tenemos suficiente maná es indispensable.
Debemos esperar 2-3 turnos para que consiga aumentar su vida lo suficiente como para que después de eso sea muy difícil acabar con ella. Únicamente podiendo derrotarla si el enemigo dispone de una carta con la habilidad Giant Killer.
Desde luego que el Splinter Agua tiene entre sus filas auténticas maravillas de cartas que combinandolas entre si hacen de éste Splinter uno de los más poderosos junto al Dragón.
