Mycelic Slipspawn was first found on the edges of the swamps of Praetoria, in areas where the fetid waters meet with the forests and jungles. It is highly toxic and grows to a substantial size. Death is uncommon for those who touch its fibrous body however, the side effects of its toxins can cause a long list of illnesses and disease, leaving its victims severely debilitated.

When the chaos portal opened and the creeping plague infected the land, the Slipspawn struggled to endure, being completely intolerant to the deadly pandemic. But then Queen Mycelia came, she touched the Slipspawn as she passed it by and it drank from her power, an enduring energy that ran deep and defiantly cast the pestilence of the chaos taint aside. The Slipspawn pulled its roots free from the ground and eagerly danced across the leafy forest floor after her, desperate to follow its saviour and stand by her in the times to come.

El Mycelic Slipspawn se encontró por primera vez en los bordes de los pantanos de Praetoria, en zonas donde las aguas fétidas se encuentran con los bosques y las selvas. Es muy tóxico y crece hasta alcanzar un tamaño considerable. La muerte es poco común para aquellos que tocan su cuerpo fibroso, sin embargo, los efectos secundarios de sus toxinas pueden causar una larga lista de enfermedades y dolencias, dejando a sus víctimas gravemente debilitadas.

**Mycelic Slipspawn has the ability Taunt from level 1. At level 4 it gets the ability Forcefield and finally at level 8 Slow.

Any creature with the Taunt ability in the game is indispensable to build a good strategy. Thanks to the fact that it forces the enemy to attack it if he can, we can attract all his attacks while the rest of our creatures can attack without taking damage. It is one of the strategies that I usually play in my battles and that usually give me very good results.

Cualquier criatura con la habilidad Taunt en el juego es indispensable para armar una buena estrategia. Gracias a que obliga al enemigo a atacarla si puede con lo que conseguimos atraer todos sus ataques mientras el resto de nuestras criaturas pueden atacar sin recibir daño. Es una de las estrategias que suelo jugar en mis batallas y que suelen darme muy buenos resultados.

In today's battle we are going to see how both my opponent and I used Mycelic Slipspawn in battle. As you can imagine we both played with the Splinter Earth and opted to use it in the last position to attract the enemy's attacks.

Combat comments: A really easy combat in which my Grund hits with everything. The enemy doesn't stand a chance because my creatures' attacks are more powerful than his.

Un combate realmente fácil en el que mi Grund golpea con todo. El enemigo no tiene ninguna posibilidad debido a que los ataques de mis criaturas son de mayor poder que los suyos.

Finally I get a comfortable victory with the only casualty being Mycelic Slipspawn as expected, fulfilling the mission of sacrificing himself for the good of the team.

Finalmente consigo una cómoda victoria con la única baja de Mycelic Slipspawn como era de esperar, cumpliendo la misión de sacrificarse por el bien del equipo.

My opinion

Since the release of the Chaos Legion edition, the Earth Splinter has become one of my favorites. Being able to use the Obsidian summoner is a real pleasure as this element has some of the most powerful magical attack creatures.

Desde la aparición de la edición Chaos Legion, el Splinter Tierra se ha vuelto uno de mis favoritos. Poder usar a la invocadora Obsidian es todo un placer ya que este elemento cuenta con unas de las criaturas de ataque mágico más poderosas.

Among them is Mycelic Slipspawn, an essential card for every Splinterlands player and that gives options to build a good strategy. Honestly, any card with the Taunt ability is very good in this game and can help us to unbalance the balance in our favor.

Entre ellas se encuentra Mycelic Slipspawn, una carta imprescindible para todo jugador de Splinterlands y que da opciones de armar una buena estrategia. Sinceramente, cualquier carta con la habilidad Taunt es muy buena en este juego y puede ayudarnos a desequilibrar la balanza a nuestro favor.
