So, #splinterlands removed the option to buy question potions with credit.
For 750 DEC, the ROI of getting 5 extra loot chests is up for debate.
Or is it?

I think that if ever there would be debate about whether buying Quest Potions using DEC tokens right now is worth it, that debate would be very short-lived. That's because it is clear that the rewards from 5 Daily Chests from a Quest Potion cannot compensate for the price of each Quest Potion (unless you win 2,000 DEC, a Gold Card, or a Legendary card at least every other day).
Yup. Exactly my concern. What was the motivation for @splinterlands to remove the option to pay with credits? The other potions can still be bought with credits, so I don't fully understand why they'd remove the option for quest potions alone.
The #Splinterlands team said that there are several players that were "exploiting" the economy by creating lots of new accounts, then loading them up with lots of Quest Potions using CREDITS.
The Legendary Potions and Alchemy Potions are currently useless before the Chaos Legion packs are released, unless you buy lots of AZMARE packs (using DEC) or UNTAMED, BETA, and ALPHA packs (using SWAP.HIVE). That's why the option to buy those potions using CREDITS has not been changed.

Made the rookie mistake of opening my first pack without any potions, but I'll be ready for the Chaos Legion packs.
The AZMARE, UNTAMED, BETA and ALPHA packs are already sold out from the #Splinterlands Shop, but they are still available on #HiveEngine in the form of tokens. 😏
