The Line Up

Fire Splinter	Position	Use/Uses
QID YUFF	SUMMONER	It provides piercing ability to all monsters.
ANTOID PLATOON	1STPOSITION	It is used as a tank and to take damage from melee and ranged attacks but it is vulnerable to magic damage.
RADIATED BRUTE	2NDPOSITION	A melee monster equipped with reach ability which make it to be able to attack at the second position.

Battle Strategy

I've taken the risk that my opponent would not use magic damage and they will use either melee or range damage so I choose "Antoid Platoon" as the tank that can negate 1 melee and range damage and put "Radiated Brute" at the second position because it is equipped with the reach ability so it can attack at the second position and deal additional melee damage. This is only a 12 mana match so I have to utilize the mana cap carefully.

My Thoughts about this Battle

The summoner I used in this battle is wrong, because the monster did not use the piercing ability provided by the "Qid Yuff". The monsters has only 1 and 2 melee damage. It is better I use "Tarsa or Malric Inferno" as a summoner.

Did the Strategy Work?

Unfortunately, the battle is not a win for me this time. The strategy is not that competitive.

What Would I Try Next Time?

I'm curious about the ability called "Cripple" I do not use this a lot in my battles and I'm not fan of it because I cannot feel the damage it inflicts to monsters.

Do I Like Antoid Platoon?

Absolutely Yes, this monster is a strong tank in the lower mana matches you can use it as a tank in the first position or you can just put it at the back at the last position to tank the sneak attacks.
